My family members all have issues with asthma so any fragrance from shaving products was always an issue. Then I tried a Phillips electric shaver about 8 years now and problem solved. Just recently purchased in November the 4100 shaver. Very impressed. I have never used precondition products either. Dry shave every morning. No skin burn,no irritation. Just a nice close smooth shave. Charges in 40 minutes and last 35 days between charges. I have saved many dollars since not buying shaving creams and the 5 blade razors in the last eight years. Thanks for a great product.

I have found that the shaver does not cut close. It is brand new and I have to shave over the area a number of time and still haven't got a close shave. I had an old Phillips but never had this problem. I am working in Australia and can't return the shaver right now so I just have to live with it. Not Happy

The product is satisfactory. The shave is comfortable and less irritating as bladed razors, but not as close as I'ld like. It works better with a pre-shave lotion than with water or foams for my face. Everyone's face is different.
Pros: less irritating
Cons: leaves a stubble that you can feel

You need to be an engineer to work out how to put this product back together again once you try to clean it. It is really fiddly and the instruction booklet is no help whatsoever.
