Great razor with overall close shave. The battery life however amazes me. I took this razor on a 6 month deployment (I am military), and it did not need to be charged for 3 months. I just returned and had to charge it again, after 3 more months. I don't know what kind of wizardry you are using for the batteries, but you need to share with car companies.
I have used a blade razor just about all of my life. For a short time I used an electric but was not pleased with it. But, the Norelco AT810 is a really great razor. It gives me a close shave either dry or with shaving cream. I would recommend it to anyone.
I have tried electric shavers before, Nothing compares to this one. Easy to use, wet or dry shave and close, like real close. Is it blade close? No but darn close to it.

I have previously owned electric shavers. This shaver lacks sufficient head power to rapidly shave. The shave is close and comfortable but it takes a long time to shave as the heads either do not spin fast enough or blades do not make sufficient contact with the skin to complete the shave timely.
I frequently have to go over the same area multiple times.
My beard is slow growing and soft bristles. I frequently can go a couple of days before I require shaving and would expect a more rapid shave.
Pros: light weight - holds charge well
Cons: insufficient blade speed, requires multiple passes over the same area
The shaver works really great and the price was great too. I've always gone with Norelco since their products perform well and last a long time. This one is off to a great start and I'm sure will last for many years.
Pros: gives a nice close shave and goes a long time with
