I am sorry to say that this shave does not shave close enough. I just ordered the 9300 and I am hoping for a better shave. I wish that I could return this and get my money back.

I hadn't used a electric razor in years, but needed one while re-cooperating from neck/back surgery. My father uses this model and suggested it for me. It did the trick, now it will come in handy for travel or quick touch ups.
Cons: no storage case

My previous razor was the Norelco skin so soft with a after shave dispenser and it was almost double the price [I bought it 10 years ago]. I replaced it with this 2D product and they are virtually the same in shaving comfort. My two complaints are that the new model 810 that I bought does not have a hole in the bottom to allow one to hang the razor up to dry after use and it does not have a shut off feature for packing away on a trip. Other than those two design features, I love the new razor and think every man should have one.
Pros: great shave easy to clean
Cons: cannot hang up to dry after use, no shut off switch for travelling

Does not give a close shave, great battery life

bought two of these for Christmas, one for myself, and one for my 16 Y/O son. this replaced a 6 y/o cordless with a bad battery.
does not give a close shave, and far too much effort to get a decent shave. My old razor was 6 years old (and I had actually never replaced the blades) and it still did a much better job. My son has peach fuzz, and mine is much more stubble, but both of us get a lousy shave
