I purchased this shaver because it was described as recommended for black men beards. I wanted to switch from my clippers to a shaver. After the 30 days of daily use, my face is still a little sensitive to using this shaver and I have more bumping than with my clippers. I wished that the cutting heads were adjustable. The cutting is very close, too close to prevent ingrown hairs even when moving the shaver lightly over the skin. I truly like that water proof case and long time between shaving. After daily use for over 30 days I still haven't seen the recharge light come on. Although, I have a light daily beard growth and only takes a few minutes to shave. I will stick with it a few more days to see if the bumping is significantly reduced or at lease get to the same as using my clippers. Most likely I will look for an adjustable head shaver if I can't eliminate the bumping with this shaver.
Pros: very close shave, waterproof case with easy rinse cleaning
Cons: cutting head not adjustable, too close shave for black men beard

This is the first shaver that I have ever brought. I enjoy the fact that I can use it everyday and not have to worry about any serious cases of razor bumps, that had been a big problem previous. It made a difference for this Afro-American man, with the use of Bump Patrol.

The electric shaver performs to my expectations, and does a very good job. I do not use the wet feature, but using it dry works great for me. It does not cause any irritations on my face or neck, which I consider a real plus. This is my second Norelco shaver. I had one that lasted for many years, until I dropped it on the concrete, and the head flew apart. So, I'm pleased enough with the Norelco products to get another.

Works good. Had some damage to the heads and lost the receipt. had to buy a new head attatchment. Real pricey little guys. half the price of another new razor.
Cons: replacement heads cost tooo much

I used Norelco shavers for 20 years now and my Shaver 400 Wet dry is the best yet. It provides a fantastic close shave with dry skin or after using a wet gel and drying off . It charges quickly and the charge provided nearly 50 shaves. It is easy to clean under hot water.
The pop up trimmer dos super job on side burns and around the ears. Once charged I don't have to worry about charging while on short to medium trips.

I have owned 4 Philips shavers many years now since I started shaving. I purchased this shaver on the 19th of June and have shaved every day, sometimes twice a day, and have not charged it since the first day I received it. A great close shave, couldn’t ask for a better shave.

The Wet & dry electric shaver, Series 4000 AT810 that was exchanged because the 2 prior 4100 Wet & dry electric shaver would not work. However, the new shaver is great! It runs faster and has a longer warning before the battery goes dead. It also charges faster. So good so far!

good shave but it falls apart at the slightest touch.

So I've had this razor for not even 2 months yet. I went to shave today with it. It was working fine. But after shaving i went to empty it. As soon as i opened the head the entire head popped off. Headache and everything came out. Now as hard as i try to put it back together it won't stay put together. Everytime you open it it falls apart again. I will be requesting a refund. This shouldn't be this faulty especially not for a name brand like Phillips Norelco.
Pros: good shave.
Cons: it falls apart at the slightest touch.
