great for travel as well

I always used a foil razor. When traveling on business or pleasure I bought every battery operated shaver over the years. This razor was light, packs easily, I ordered the pouch as it doesn't come with a case. It is great for travel and am beginning to use it more at home over my foil. This razor doesn't have much sizzle as far other than a trimmer. No lights or led info but it has a lot of steak and is a great buy at the price

Not durable

I purchased the AT880 new on November 1, 2012. It lasted less than 3 years before it stopped working. I got my first Norelco in 1964, replaced it in 1983, replaced that one in 1998 and replaced that one in November 2011, expecting improvements through new technology and at least 10 years use. The AT880 no longer holds a charge, and since it is cordless-only, it is useless. I had kept my 5842XL which still works fine. Unlike the AT880, the 5842XL can be operated with or without a cord. It gives the same shave as the 880. I will not be buying a replacement Norelco.
Pros: easy to clean
Cons: poor durability, cordless only

The At928 met or exceeded all of my expectations. I have used Norelco shavers most of my 72 years. This shaver is the best shaver I have used by Norelco.
Pros: great close shave, easy maintence, as good or better than the shavers with more optio
Cons: the replacement blades are rather expensive

I have had 3 Norelco shavers before, covering 30 years of ownership. Each was better, giving a closer shave than the last. This one was the best of all the best. It went far beyond my expectations. Other features are also improved, including the cover which stays on more reliably than other shavers.
