Will be returning this razor ...

I have been using Philips razors for 2-3 decades - and bought this one before Christmas as a replacement for my last unit of ~10 years. This razor does a poor job of shaving my face - and misses many hairs. So - most days I have to go back and re-shave 50-75% of my face again with a safety razor to get these missed hairs. I will be returning this razor.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This shaver is great, shaves great, cleans easily and I got 9 weeks shaving almost every day, out of the initial charge.Just fantastic.

LOVE IT!

On Feb. 26th I received a Philips AT893 AquaTouch razer. I plugged it in to charge overnight and started using it the next day. Today, April 29th, the low battery indicator came on for the first time. 2 months between charges, AWESOME!
I also love how easy it is to clean. It shaves well and I have no complaints.
Pros: flip-open rinse out head.
Cons: didn't come with a stand would help for drying.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I received this razor as a gift and have been using it for over a year now. The battery lasts long, it's waterproof and relatively easy to clean. It gives a clean shave. It does pull sometimes on some beard hairs but that's probably because I need to replace the blades soon and I usually dry shave (i.e. no gel or shaving cream). The sideburn trimmer works great!
I would rate this as the second best electric cordless razor that I've ever used with the first best being a foil based electric cordless razor.
Overall, it's a quality product that does a great job. Not quite as good a shaving with a blade but it does save time when you're in a hurry and I would definately recommend this razor.
Pros: long battery life, relatively easy to clean, sideburn / moustache trimmer, water resistant

This is my first electric shaver and I just started shaving, this product is very easy to use and to clean and I would recommend it !!!!!!! This product has so many pros that it would take forever to wright them all but a few would be that it's easy to use, easy to clean, has a protective guard to protect blades and more. You must go and get this electric shaver "loved it"!!!!!
Pros: easy to use, easy to clean, great for people starting shaving, small and compact ( easy to pack), can use well it's plugged in, has a protective guard, comes with bonus (some)
Cons: protective guard could be made to be more durable

Great for Sensitive Skin and Arthritis

I have both sensitive skin and rheumatoid arthritis and have had increasing issues using a standard razor. Little nicks would bleed for days (my medication slows the healing process) and it was becoming harder to hold the razor. In the past I had issues with electric razors due to razor burn, but I had never tried a razor that could be used in the shower and with shaving cream.
This electric shaver solves my issues - it's easier to hold and control than a standard razor and after just a few days my skin got used to the razor. I never got any razor burn, but my skin was itchy for just the first few uses. I highly recommend this razor.
Pros: easy to hold, can be used with shaving cream in the shower
Cons: non come to mind

One of the greatest shavers ever made!

I have used this model for five years and it always provide a first class shave. Change the blades every year or two to keep it sharp and your shave close. This is a fantastic shaver you will not be disappointed. Unfortunately, Norelco does not make this model anymore but I would guess that their new products are up to the task.
