It's been 20 years since I used shaving cream, and along comes and electric that handles it with flair. I save the pleasure until the weekend. I get a good shave using whatever lubricant is available and the floating heads really hug tight. It is also stingy with power.

It was the first day I found a difference from my other razor. The ability to use with shaving gel and have a wet shave stopped the burning and irritation I was getting before.
Pros: able to use with gel
Cons: sometimes i turn it off while shaving since the sw
Excellent product. I owned a Norelco many years ago and then adjusted to a non electric razor. I really like the design that allows it to be used with water. I love that I can immediately rinse it out to clean it after brushing it clean. Great design. Also, the charge lasts a very long time.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this razor to replace a similar cordless wet/dry model that I've had for years (Advantage 6737X). The Advantage was a sturdier build and its motor sounded more powerful than the AT830. Even with these differences, the AT830 has not disappointed. The AT830's motor is quieter than the Advantage. I've used the AT830 for a week so far and the shaves have been good.
One disappointment is that the AT830 did not come with a docking stand and a travel bag. The Advantage had these and they were extremely convenient items. The bag I can still use, but I would prefer not to have the razor laying on the counter top while recharging. A docking stand would be much more convenient.
Norelco, you should offer a docking stand as an accessory to all your cordless razors. The search criteria on your web site does not offer this when researching features in raozrs.
I first bought the razor with the charging stand and skinny neck. What a waste. It made a project out of shaving. Took it back and bought the power Touch with the pivot head. Works great and I love the wet shave with shaving foam. It works dry too. I could have saved a few more bucks by buying one without the pivot head as I can't see a point in it.
I've been using Norelco shavers (razors) for over 60 years.
This product is easy to use and provides a comfortable, quick shave.

I am impressed by the ease of use of this product. It's light and comfortable on the skin. The only citicism I have is that it doesn't do as well as I'd like getting the hairs on my throat, especially if it's even a little wet.
Overall, I like this product and recommend it. It provides a close shave, is easy to use and has a long lasting battery (fully charged). I do have one issue with it that I do not like. That is the way the head opens for cleaning and the area under the head that holds the cut whiskers. One more thing that is not an issue, but I wish that the razor had a battery charge/life indicator on it (like my previous Norelco had!)
This product does a wonderful job as it was designed to do. I never shaved with an electric razor and was afraid I would not get a good close shave. I would recommend thias razor to anyone who is willing to listen.
