I returned it. The shave was not close enough and I didn't like the fact that you can't shave while it is plugged in. I want to be able to shave both cordless and while plugged in. I never bought a wet dry shaver before and will not buy one again. However I did buy a less expensive Norelco that does shave while plugged in and it's not a wet/dry shaver. I'm happy with it, the shave is much closer.
Pros: looks good
Cons: doesn't shave close enough

After many years of use my old Norelco battery was wearing out and not holding a charge very well. I looked at the current models offered and settled on the Philips Norelco PowerTouch wet and dry electric razor AT830/41. Once again, it works better than the previous Norelco model I had. Shaves even closer than before. I might have to shave only 3 days a week! Can't complain about the improvements. The only complaint is there is no travel pouch. I found an older Norelco shaver pouch that fits, but I was only lucky I still had it. Good work.
Pros: can't be disappointed.
Cons: needs a travel pouch.

I have used this Phillips Norelco Aquatec shaver for approx. four weeks and I am very pleased with its performance and the close shave that I attained with it. It does not irritate my skin and is very light weight and very easy to use and clean, I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to receive a close shave with with know irritation to the skin.
Pros: closeness of shave, light weight of shaver, ease of cleaning both shaver and heads

I've been using this shaver for about 3 weeks now. I am very satisfied with the closeness of the shave, ease of use, and the number of shaves between a recharge.
I like the wet/dry shaving option and the ease in cleaning after each shave.

Better than the Norelco 9160XL that this replaced.

I was apprehensive about a none adjustable shaving head which the previous Norelco 9160XL had as a feature. That head had too many parts to wear and break which it did. This new AT830/41 shaver is not adjustable with fewer parts but shaves better without a rash. The motor sounds stronger with higher torque, but I don't know about the RPM ratings.
Pros: simple design and a better close shave., best of the norelco's used for the past 30 yrs.
