Norelco Getting Cheap

Power cord does not fit tightly into bottom of shaver.
No stand!! How cheap can you get?
Decent shave, good trimmer.
Pros: decent shave, good trimmer
Cons: cord slips out of bottom of shaver, no stand

I think this shaver was made with quality parts and had a fantastic feel in your hand. One thing I would change is how soft the flex is where the blades move up and down as you shave I think it would work better for me if it was a bit stiffer. I do not recommend this shaver if you have sensitive skin, unfortunately for me this shaver irritates and breaks my face out particularly on my neck one either side of my Adam’s apple. That’s not to say that I have more or less sensitive skin that average this is also my first electric shaver and it was bought for me as a gift and I later found out that it’s a fact that a foil shaver is better for sensitive skin than rotary shavers but I can’t seem to break this one to justify buying a new one, they recommend 12 months or until you can feel the head is not performing to change the blades out I have had this shaver, using it every other day if not everyday for 2 years, long enough that I couldn’t read any of the print on the back of the shaver where it clearly says 12 months until head replacement and I only just recently replaced the head/razors and only because I thought maybe that would help keep my neck from getting so irritated and the performance had only a slight advantage which is pretty amazing how long the the razors last which tells me a lot about how the rest of the shaver is built!

Shaving with Philips at750 is a good experince for my skin, I don't have any problems with it so I recommend this for everyone !

Price of replacement head/blades very very expensive so I opted to buy a new S5420 philips shaver.

This is an excellent product but replacement blades/heads are far too expensive. Please try to reduce cost of these replacement items as they are consumeables to be replaced every two years. I bought a new S5420 shaver rather than pay the exorbitant price for the blades.
Pros: excellent performance, easy to use, better as a wet shaver
Cons: cost of replacement blades too high!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used a Norelco for over 50 years, so I obviously prefer the product. Why is the registration process made so difficult? Not all of your customers are as computer literate as you would like them to be. I dare say that a very large segment of your repeat customers are older & certainly don't appreciate being subjected to this process. You should realize that when you are patting yourselves on your backs on your "wonderful customer service".

So far so good as dry shaver - next up: use as wet shaver

Approx two (2) weeks in and no complaints. Usage is daily Mon-Sat. Dry shaving only thus far with no complaints. Still haven't utilized as a wet shaver device but I will and don't expect any problems. I am more interested in the longevity; i.e. integrity of shaver's performance over time. Will add one drop of oil every 2-3 weeks as part of maintenance plan.
