For the price, this is an excellent shaver. This is my 2nd one, since the practicality of being new blades just did not make good fiscal sense. Easy to clean, charge it one a week, and a very close shave are the reasons for the high rating. Highly Recommend this Shaver.

Gentle to your skin

I have been shaving with this for a very long time. It is very gentle to your skin and very quiet also. It could have been little bit faster. Over all, I am pleased about it.

Used it for 7-years streight!

I first got this product from my parent when I was in high school. Since then, I have been using it for 7-years until it died on me after motor failure. I would had to replace its whole body, which would have cost me around $50, but decided to upgrade to a newer series (9000).
The shaving heads wear out in about a year. My last Norelco electric shaver lasted for 20 years before the heads wore out.How come the old Norel shaver heads lasted longer then the new Norelco heads do?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this shaver while traveling as I had forgotten to pack my older model. I am so happy I was forced to replace my older one. The shave is great and quick. I also love having the recharge alert, and it does recharge quickly. The on/off bottom is better placed, no longer accidentally turning it off while shaving.
