The reason I bought this razor was because my previous one also a Phillps did not do a very good job in my throat area. The new razor does the same,only to a lesser degree. When I try to get a smooth shave in my throat area I end up with cuts that bleed.

This shaver gives me a nice close shave with minimal skin irritation and is also very easy to pop open and clean! The size and weight is very easy to hold and grip while using. So far I've only used it dry but don't see any problems so far.
Shaver works really well however if I don't leave it plugged in all the time it does not hold a charge from one day to the next
I would recommend this to a friend!
