My wife purchased my first Norelco electric razor for Xmass 2010. Untill then I was a brush and mug saver. I now save 6 days a week with my Norelco and on Sunday with a standard razor. I was so pleased, I purchased another Norelco. My first Norelco is still in service in my traval kit. R.J.
I wanted a razor that gave me a close shave and that held a charge for a long period. This razor does that. I'm very pleased and surprised. Recommend this product which is reasonably priced.
My wife and I both have used this product and agree it shaves very well. The shaver did not pull as some do and is a top notch product. Also shaved long whiskers very well.
This unit is light and handy. It shaves well and is quiet. I have a fairly heavy beard and I must have shaved at least ten times on the initial charge and it's still going. It's easy to clean. I've never had any experience with a really expensive shaver, but this one works quite well.
Before I bought this product, I use to use a nonelectric razor and the nicks would really drive me nuts. I've found that the Philips Norelco power touch is a very safe and easy unit to use. The style of the unit makes it comfortable to hold and use, without any pulling of your hair, like other Electric razors seem to always do.
My previous electric, though four years old, just was "cuttin' it" (pun intended) anymore. The new Norelco is so smooth and quiet I'm still checking to see if I've got the head cover on.
Pros: everything
Cons: nothing
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have used Norelco shavers for years (1960). Most have been what I wanted and needed - except Model 8240 XL, which leaves whisker dust everywhere, so I trashed it after 2 weeks. This AT810/41 is light, well designed to hold, cuts beautifully - whiskers and sideburns, and cleans up easily. I can only hope it lasts. One complaint - the Product Details said it came with a travel pouch. It is conspicuously missing from the original, unopened packaging. Not happy about this, since I travel extensively and this would be a nice-to-have.
