It takes a little while to re learn how to shave (ie double chins etc,) but I get just as good a shave already that I can get with my expensive blade razors. There is less stuble in the morning than when I used the blade. The battery gave me a good week before a recharge. I do recommend using a pre shave (Williams or equal) It seems to move smoother. Cant find your products (spray or liquid in any stores around here. I already got a replacement head stashed away for a long term relationship with my new razor. Why didnt I do this sooner? I am 78 already and still learning.
This is the first electric shaver I have owned. I have always been skeptical about electric shavers and shaved with razors for 20 years. I was amazed that I can now shave in the shower with my Philips wet shaver and it was as good as razors. Also, I don't have to look in the mirror to make sure that I don't cut myself while shaving!
Overall, a good electric shaver. The performance is superior to my older model Philips Norelco that I replaced. However, after removing the shaving head for cleaning, I have to try several times before it latches properly back into place.
