I purchased this razor to replace another that finally quit after about 10 yeras of use. My new Phillips has a better design and is much more powerful. I am looking forward to another 10 years of service with an occasional blade change!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Its been over 20 year since I had a elec razor. I really like the smoothness no pulling of hair and the fact you can use it in the shower save time when getting ready for work.

This is my first electric razor. So, I can't compare it to others. It works adequately.

What I really like about this Shave is that I can use it in the Shower with shaving gel. I get a better shave when I use the gel as compared to just water. I was on a shaving pannel for over twenty years for a company the made shaving gel. We would use a new blade on each side of the face as we tested thee product. This razor does not give as close of a shave as we had during the testing, but it is a lot easier on the skin and give almost as close of a shave.
Pros: ease of use both wet and dry

I really like that it's easy to use and easy to clean. My only issue with it is that ever since I've started using it it seems that I'm having more issues with ingrown hairs that I didn't have with my previous Norelco product. I suppose I would also mention that it would be more environmentally friendly to keep a consistent type of charging port so that older cords will fit it.
