I have not used an electric razor in 30 years so I don’t have a lot to compare this razor to but this razor works very well for me. I would buy this razor again and I would definitely recommend it to everyone.

The worst Norelco shaver I've owned in 30 years! I dread using it. Insufficient cutting. It feels like I've got 5-o'clock shadow all day long. Moving in circles doesn't help either. My previous Norelcos only took 3 minutes to shave. Now I spend 5-6 minutes going over and over my face. Cleaning of blades: previous models, once per month; this model, every 5 days. Also, this model doesn't have a battery life timer, so hard to tell when to recharge.
Cons: does not cut close enough, requires frequent cleaning of blades
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Pros: Zero to full charge in one hour, shaves close and trims in corners well, basic and rugged.
Cons: Only 5 minutes left when low charge warning light blinks, blades only last a year.

I have been using razor blades for over fifty years. It took awhile to get accustom to using an electric razor. At first I had trouble with getting a close shave in some spots, but now this razor provides a good uniform smooth shave. I do not know how long the battery last because I automatically charge it every few days. The fact it is water resistant is a big plus. I am very happy with my purchase and do not plan switching back to using razor blades.
Pros: very easy to clean with water
Cons: minimal time saving vs using a blade.

At age 76 I was tired of scrapping my face and the whole routine lathering up, etc to the point of only shaving a few times a week. I had tried a Norelco 40 years ago and used it for a number of years, so when I decided to use an electric razor again it was my first choice. I had more recently tried some of the oscillating electrics but didn't like them, to noisy and slow. I am totally satisfied with this new Norelco. Using a pre-shave lotion, I get a blade close shave in a few minutes. The redesigned shaving heads easily cut curly as well as straight hairs. The physical design of the razor makes it easy to handle and I shaved 25 times before needing a recharge. I don't plan on shaving in the shower or using shaving cream, but wanted the aquatec feature so I could rinse the shaver under the tap after each use.
