The Philips Sonicare 2 Series Plaque Control rechargeable toothbrush is a smart purchase for those looking to get or keep their teeth clean and healthy. The toothbrush’s simple and durable design allows for easy use by anyone, and its slim, compact charger saves space near your bathroom sink. I recently bought this toothbrush to more thoroughly brush my teeth and prevent cavities and so far I’ve been astonished by how well it’s doing the job.
Simple Design:
The basic design of the Philips Sonicare toothbrush makes it easy to start with a push of a button and allows for easy cleaning of the teeth. The snap-on toothbrush head makes it easy to clean or change the bristles after brushing. And Philips says that the Sonicare toothbrush has a two-week battery charge after each re-charging. If you’re concerned about using technology for something as “ordinary” as tooth-brushing, don’t let that keep you from still using a manual toothbrush. The Philips Sonicare toothbrush is as easy to use as any manual toothbrush.

I received this toothbrush free in order to write a review. I previously had an Oral B Electric Toothbrush. I LOVE this Sonicare toothbrush. It makes my teeth feel so much more clean than any other toothbrush I`ve used. It seems to more gentle when cleaning. So far, the toothbrush has held it`s charge well. I`ve been using it for 10+ days and I haven`t had to recharge it. Toothbrush is lightweight. I`m very pleased and I will stick with my new Sonicare!
Pros: gentle, leaves teeth feeling very clean

This toothbrush does an excellent job on your teeth. I always feel I get a great brushing when I use this morning and night...the timer is an added feature so you know when to switch to either top or bottom.

simple and affordable

I received this new Sonicare Plaque control toothbrush as a free sample to review, and I must say – I really like it. The piece is very lightweight and comfortable to hold, easy to travel with as well. The brush head snaps on super easy, but leaves a bit of a gap which bugs me and will probably fill up with gunk over time. Also, I thought they could have at least included a second brush head, as the packaging has an empty pocket for a second brush. I found the vibrations a bit rough as I have very sensitive teeth, but I discovered there is a different brush head available for that. (side note, I wish brush heads were available in singles rather than 4 or 6-packs). The brush has a 30 second timer built in which I found very helpful for awareness of how I am doing with the recommended brushing time. However, the automatic shut-off at the 2-minute mark is completely unnecessary and annoying. It has kept charge for 2 weeks as promised, which is nice not having to have it plugged in to charge very often. Overall, a simple and version of Sonicare’s vibrating brush without some of the fancier features, but at a more manageable price. I recommend!

Replacing a knock-off sonic care product that I purchase thing it was from Philips, it wasn't. The new Philips Sonicare 2 Series has all the basic features you need, and the quadpacer is implemented correctly, much better than tha knock-off.

Good Timing

I received a free sample of the Sonicare Plaque Control Toothbrush to review and I am pleasantly pleased with it! I love that it times out after two minutes and pauses four times in order for you to know when to move on to another section. Before I started using the Sonicare toothbrush I honestly did not brush for the two minutes that are required for a good brushing, so the timing has really helped me. The only issue I have with it is the size of the toothbrush head that came with it. I am used to a larger medium bristle brush, and this one is about the size of a child's and has soft bristles. However, I am getting used to it and my mouth feels fresher than ever once I am done brushing lately.
