Great product for my first electronic toothbrush.

I received the Sonicare Toothbrush as a free sample to review. I was excited to get my first electronic toothbrush since my mom has the same one and has been raving about what a difference it`s made for her personally. Wanting to be informed and use it correctly, I read through the instructions and then started using the toothbrush for the last week and a half. Initially, I didn`t know if I would be able to use the toothbrush more than one day because I was not used to how much it vibrated and it really, really tickled my teeth/mouth. I talked to someone else who had an electronic toothbrush and they said that they had the same problem as well, but they got used to it. By day three, I was used to it and now I really love it. I think it does a great job doing a deeper cleaning than a regular toothbrush. I have my semi-annual dental checkup in one month and I`ll be curious to see what my dentist says about the change. My only critique (now that I`m used to it) is that the bristles seem small (about 1/2 inch) and I wish they were slightly longer overall. The charge seems to last well in the amount of time I`ve used it. I also like the travel cap that it comes with since I travel regularly. The size of the bristles is the only reason I`m rating it `good` vs. `excellent.` I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to improve their overall dental regimen.

Makes your teeth feel like it was cleaned at the dentist

I am really impressed to the performance of this toothbrush. I have own a few battery operated and electric ones and what truly impressed me on this is how skinny the neck and small the head. It can reach the very far back of your teeth with so much ease. It is very slim that you can barely feel it in your mouth. When I received it in the mail I was so excited to try it. I took it out of the package. Plugged it in and put the toothbrush on top of the charger. I waited for an hour for my first brush. I really feel clean afterwards. I can feel the smoothness of my teeth. The weight of the toothbrush is just right. It is not very big and heavy. And as i said the neck to the head is very slim. I also like the fact that there is a cover for the head/bristle/brush part. The price is very affordable and I highly recommend everyone who is still using a manual toothbrush to invest in an electric toothbrush. You will never go back to manual again. The first time I used it. My initial reaction was how clean and smooth my teeth feels. It almost the same feeling i get after a cleaning trip to the dentist. However, i can totally see other people possibly having dentist anxiety not liking this brush because of the noise it makes while you are brushing. It totally sound like just how they clean it at the dentist. It is not a very pleasant noise. I really hope they fix that. I brush my teeth twice a day and been using it for a week now. I still have not recharged it. I also like that it gives automatically turns off after 2 minutes of brushing. Overall, i will recommend it to everyone still using a manual toothbrush to invest in this Sonicare Plaque Control Toothbrush. Price is very affordable and it does the job like you would get from the dentist.
Pros: slim and small enough to reach very back of teeth, brush cover, light wieght
Cons: annoying buzzing sound just like at the dentist

I received the sonicare toothbrush for free in exchange for a review, I must say that I love the product. The sonicare toothbrush has overall improved my oral health. I've seen a noticeable improvement in my gum health and my teeth feel incredibly cleaner than they did brushing with an ordinary toothbrush. I would recommend this product to anyone wanting to improve their oral health.

Cleaner Teeth and Mouth

I received this toothbrush in exchange to write a review after testing. This is my first electronic toothbrush and comparing to my old manual toothbrush, I can say that I feel like it is doing a better job getting in the nooks and crannies of my gums and teeth. I like the small head because it's easy to move around in my mouth. It has a longer than I expected battery life. After using a week, i can say that my teeth and mouth feel cleaner since i started using the Sonicare toothbrush. I am not sure how much are the brush heads, as it does recommend to replace the heads every 3 months. I am happy with this product and i think i will get another one for my daughter.
Pros: very light, brisles are soft
Cons: maybe it takes more space in the bathroom

I use the brush because my dentist recommended it, however, I don't use it as much as I should. I can't seem to prevent hitting my teeth with the plastic and I can't stand that! It would sure be helpful if you could replace the hard plastic with a softer material like many regular toothbrushes are made of now.

Before purchasing the sonicare series 2, I have owned and used the sonicare essence for 3 years. It brushes wonderfully, however the only downfall of the essence was how the brush heads pop out of the sockets, but overall they brush so much better than the series 2.
