I love this toothbrush. When I had my last one before it broke the dentist saw a positive difference. Did not have one for a month and he saw a negative difference. Just wish the brush heads were a little cheaper.
Pros: really cleans teeth well
Cons: replacement brushes a little costly

Great toothbrush!

I received this product as a free sample to review. I have never used an electronic toothbrush before. I'm still getting used to it after trying for almost two weeks. I like how the battery stays charged for a long time. My teeth feel very clean after using as well so I will continue to use this product! I would recommend this to anyone interested in trying a toothbrush like this.

Super clean teeth with some great features

I received this toothbrush as a free sample to use for this review. I have been using this toothbrush for the last week now and I have to say overall I am very pleased with the product. I have been using another brand of electronic toothbrush for the last several years and I definitely see and feel a difference with the Sonicare.
Pros:
Automatic shut-off after 2 minutes. No need to fumble for the button while it's buzzing in your mouth.(Seriously love this)
My teeth are super crazy clean after using this. Like smooth and shiny like after I leave the dentist clean.
The toothbrush is soft and feels really nice.
The brush is shaped like a small version of non-mechanical toothbrushes which helps reach the rear areas of your mouth.
The whole unit including the charging base takes up very little space on your sink.
The charge lasts long enough for a weekend trip when you forget the charger.
There is a sound every 30 seconds to let you know when it's time to switch to another area of your mouth.

This only came with 1 brush head, so my poor husband is sad watching me use my new fancy toothbrush.
The vibration can be a little off-putting at first and does take some getting used to.

Overall, I highly recommend this toothbrush to anyone looking to improve their brushing experience. My teeth still feel smooth and clean hours into my work day after too much coffee, breakfast, and lunch.

Great features, great cleaning!

I had never used an electronic toothbrush until I received the Sonicare Plaque Control Toothbrush in exchange for this review.
My first experience using this type of brush was different to say the least. The vibration of the brush tickled my mouth and lips. It took a couple of brushings before I got used to it. But once I did I was a quick convert to no longer brushing manually.
This technology (though not new) is excellent and I feel it does a much better job of cleaning my teeth and the plaque. The auto-turnoff feature is something I also like letting me know when I've brushed long enough. The instructions to set up and charge weren't needed as it's very simple to operate. I've been using it now for about two weeks on a single full charge.
The only thing I have yet to look at is the cost of replacement heads though another nice feature is the ability to share the unit with other family members as switching heads is quite simple. Not sure the cost factor will be good if the replacement heads are expensive though and that may be the product's only downfall.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I received a free sample, Philips Sonicare electric toothbrush. After approximately 10 days of use, I am hooked and my teeth have never felt cleaner.
The Philips Sonicare is powerful yet delicate on the teeth and gums. The Sonicare is easy to charge and the product features specific to the battery status, the green and yellow light indicators is an added bonus. One slight item that can use some improvement is the product`s appearance; nothing eye popping.

Good results without all the add ons

I recently received a free sample of the Philips Sonicare 2 series toothbrush to review. The Sonicare toothbrush that I used had a fairly simple structure to it. It has an on and off button with a singular setting to the brushing intensity/purpose -- whereas other models shown on the promotional information within the box show other settings. Ultimately, I didn`t feel that I was missing anything from the experience. I felt that I could adequately clean my teeth and gums without a concern for settings for these areas or needing a sensitivity mode.
The toothbrush is easy to assemble. The head simple is pressed onto the brush`s base. The head vibrates versus having a rotating motion for the bristles. I actually found this just as effective. It took me a few times to get used to the dentist-like pressures, sounds and sensation, but after using a few times, it was a comfortable product to use.
I clearly felt like I better cleaning than I was getting with my manual toothbrush. The toothbrush head was a reasonable size -- not too big -- but not angled. I felt I could ably reach behind and into the deep corners of the mouth but a slightly angled arm might be a slight improvement.
If there anything that I felt this toothbrush fell short in, it would be in cleaning in the crevasses between teeth and on the tops at times.
All in all, the toothbrush is simple to use, simple to keep charged and delivered a much better result than what I had been doing manually with a lot less effort on my part. I definitely see myself brushing my teeth more often with the ease of the Philips Sonicare toothbrush.
Pros: simple -- easy to setup and use
Cons: angled head/arm could help reach back areas

Clean fresh feeling after brushing

I was already using another electric toothbrush when I started using the Philips Sonicare Plaque Control Toothbrush. I should mention that I was sent a free sample to use for this review. Overall I am happy with the Philips. The head was a little smaller than my previous toothbrush, but, it seems to clean great. I have a shiny tooth feel after I am done brushing. The Philips has a built in timer that `buzzes` after 30 seconds to indicate moving to a different part of the mouth. It has a nice recharger stand. I have had it less about 2 weeks and it is working out well. I have priced replacement heads and they seem a little expensive, however. Be careful when turning it on outside of your mouth as the toothpaste can go flying before you start brushing.
Pros: timer for brushing for 2 minutes
Cons: expensive replacement heads
