Great manual toothbrush replacement!

I received the Sonicare Plaque Control Toothbrush as a sample to use for this review, and boy am I glad that I did. I don't have much experience with electric toothbrushes, but my world was forever changed once I received the Sonicare Plaque Control Toothbrush. It features a great design. It fits well in my palm, and it isn't too heavy. It's the perfect weight and size for everyday use. The toothbrush heads are detachable, which is great for changing them out or if multiple family members use the same toothbrush base with different toothbrush heads. My favorite features are the two minute timer and the gradual 14 day build up. This toothbrush has a built in two minute timer that vibrates every 30 seconds within the two minutes. This makes it so much easier to ensure that you are brushing for the recommended amount of time. For electric toothbrush newbies such as myself, the 14 day build up feature it also great. The toothbrush increases in intensity over the first 14 days so that you can get used to it. A charging base is included. It plugs into your standard outlet. You can choose to leave it plugged in to charge your toothbrush in between uses, or plug it up when you need a charge. I have only one complaint about the Sonicare Plaque Control Toothbrush. Because the toothbrush head detaches from the base, I find that toothpaste wedges itself in between the two pieces. I try to thoroughly clean both pieces between brushes but it is frustrating to have to do such a deep clean of the toothbrush each time I brush my teeth. Overall, I think the Sonicare Plaque Control Toothbrush is great. It definitely lives up to it's name by keeping my teeth sparkling and clean.
Pros: two minute timer
Cons: toothpaste gets wedges in between pieces

Love this toothbrush

Last week I received a free sample of the Sonicare Plaque Control Toothbrush in exchange for reviewing this product. I have to say I was not sure how I would like it, but I Love it. It is so simple to use and I can honestly say, my teeth feel really clean. I have used this product for over a week, and I can see a difference in how clean my teeth are after each use. I can reach all around the inside of my mouth, reaching the hard to reach area with the Sonicare Plaque Control Toothbrush. It powerful enough to really clean your teeth and gum line. I feel by using this product daily, I am really getting a good cleaning on my teeth. I would recommend this product, as a matter of fact, I am getting a second one for my husband. Try it for yourself and see the difference in cleaning your teeth. Its a great product!!

Sonicare 2 series performs well & provides a better hand fit than the former model. Brush speeds appears to be faster & firer than previous model. Very disappointed does not have 30 second interval timer. When purchasing thought this model provided the timer. Careless on my part. Charge lasts for a very reasonable number of brushes.
Cons: no 30 second interval timer

Overall, I found some benefits to using the Sonicare Plaque Control Toothbrush; below are some pros and cons. I should mention that I was sent a free sample to use for this review.
Pros:
-easy to assemble
-sleek plug-in recharging/docking station design
-automatic 30-second tone to signal user to move onto different area of mouth for effective cleaning
-leaves my teeth and gums feeling just-left-the-dentist's-office polished and smooth
-hard-to-reach areas like back of mouth/molars feel clean and smooth

Clean Teeth

Overall, I am very satisfied with this product. I do need to mention that I received a free sample of this product to test, in order to complete this review.
The user manual and list of detailed usage instructions were very clear and helpful. Assembly of the product took seconds, and was very easy. My only critique of the product structure, is that the brush head does not sit flat against the handle. It does not completely snap in, and there is a slight space left between the two pieces. The head is securely on and does not seem will fall off, but it would be nice it the two piece sat flush together.
Charging this product took between 24-36 hours to fully charge up for the first time it was put of the charging cradle. (As advised in the manual.) Once it was charging, it was also easy to set up the smart timer, which is a great feature of this product.
The quality did meet my expectations. It is a very slim, clean and sleek products, which I look forward to using everyday. I appreciate the timer, as you get better feeling you are spending the correct amount of time and brushing the right way. The first few brushes were uncomfortable as this was a new sensation, but that feeling quickly went away as the feeling became normal. After each use, my teeth feel very clean and I just visited the dentist. I would recommend the product to other users.
Another plus was how the packaging contained coupons for replacement heads for the future. Warranty also included.
