I have been using a Sonic toothbrush for well over a decade. It finally got to the point where it wouldn't hold a charge for very long. The new toothbrush is lighter and thinner than the old one but works even better. The only small gripe I have is that sometimes while pulling off the head cover I can pull off the entire head assembly. the older unit screwed on so this could not happen. This is a small issue. Otherwise the new unit is a nice upgrade over a toothbrush that gave me many years of excellent service. I expect this one to do the same.

I received this toothbrush for free in exchange for my honest review. I have used a few different models of Sonicare toothbrushes in the past, so was eager to compare. I found this newer model to be much sleeker than those I've used before. The base was really small and easy to fit on the corner of my sink. The toothbrush handle was thin, smooth and easy to hold. I really like how the toothbrush head snaps on to the handle rather than screws on - I think it will be less likely to grow mildew and easier to clean. The speed of the vibration when in use is just right - it feels like it's really getting my teeth clean, much more than when I was using a regular toothbrush.

Very easy to use

I received a free sample Sonicare Plaque Control Toothbrush, but using it made brushing my teeth more efficient. I feel my teeth have been cleaner than if I had used a regular unpowered toothbrush. I wish the toothbrush would oscillate more instead it seems to just vibrate and liquify the toothpaste very quickly. Overall I am very pleased with the product and the ease of use and charging as well as the aesthetics.
Pros: aesthetics
Cons: needs to oscillate more

I want to begin by mentioning that I was sent a free sample of this toothbrush to use for in return of an honest review. With that said I have to let you know that I am definitely a converter to an electronic toothbrush. I have been using the Sonicare toothbrush for a month now and from the first use I felt a difference. My teeth felt cleaner and there was an overall smooth feeling. It does take a few times to get use to the vibrating feeling of the toothbrush in your mouth as well as controlling the impulse to just start brushing your teeth. But after a week of use I could just let the toothbrush do its job. One of the features I really like is that after 2 minutes of brushing it completely shuts off so you know you have done the recommended brushing time. It recommends that you divide brushing between the 4 quadrants of the mouth which works perfectly great since the brush will let you know when to switch to the next quadrant.
The brush is actually pretty comfortable to hold so there isn`t any awkwardness or getting used to feel a different size toothbrush. I like that is a rechargeable battery and the charging station is small so it doesn’t take up a lot of counter space. All in all I have been surprisingly pleased with this electronic toothbrush and definitely plan to continue using it since I have seen a difference.

Works good, just a fleeting motor glitch

Overall, I like this electronic toothbrush that I received as a free sample for this review.
A few times during use the motor makes a higher pitch whrrr and doesn`t move. It is only temporary (2-3 seconds or so) and continues to click back into functional mode. I have found it does this more often when the battery is low (but still does it occasionally when fully charged). I just remember to go back over those teeth again. Maybe does it once per brushing but several times per brushing if battery runs low.
It is a MUCH better product than the cheaper drug store brands of electronic toothbrushes I had tried before this. It is easy to use and doesn`t require the batteries like ones I have used beforehand!
I would recommend this product to others, especially if the motor glitch is fixed.
