Dentist office clean feeling

I received this Sonicare Plaque Control ToothBrush free of charge but the opinions of this product are my own. This toothbrush gave my teeth the cleanest feeling outside of the dentist office that I never knew was possible. The 1st time using the toothbrush it was a little hard to get used to the vibrating from my regular manual toothbrush but once you get past that it gets your teeth a deep down clean. I did notice that the bristles are a bit rough so if you have sensitive gums you may need a softer head.
Pros: clean feeling, timer
Cons: rough bristles

I received a free sample of this toothbrush to review and I have to say, I LOVE IT! I have never used an electric toothbrush so powerful. With normal brushing and with standard electric toothbrushes, my main concern is that I am not addressing plaque buildup at the gum line. I feel like this toothbrush really helps eliminate that plaque. The toothbrush I received only came with one head but there are several other heads available for this model that are specifically designed to address a variety of specific dental concerns which I like. It gives you an opportunity to customize your brushing. The brush heads are smaller than most toothbrushes so I feel like I can really get around ALL of my teeth. Certain bristles on the brush head change color when it's time to replace which I like. The sonic vibrating motion of this toothbrush is so fast and powerful, I feel like I hardly have to do any work at all...it does most of the work for me! The electric charging dock is super easy to use and the toothbrush doesn't need to be charged every day, it holds its charge for several days which is great! I like the modern, sleek look of the unit as well, It doesn't take up a bunch of (already limited) space on my bathroom counter. This toothbrush makes it fun to brush and I felt myself brushing longer than normal just because I felt like I was doing something really good for my teeth and gums. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a high quality electric toothbrush that can make an impact on your overall dental health.

I've had a Sonicare toothbrush since 2006. The battery died in it a few months ago, so I bought a new Series 2. The brush heads are much slimmer now! The timer makes it quick and easy to brush all four quadrants.
Pros: timer, long battery life
Cons: brush heads are expensive

Best Toothbrush Ever

Let me start off by saying, although necessary, I've never liked brushing my teeth. However, after receiving the Philips Sonicare Toothbrush in exchange for writing this review I almost look forward to it now. The toothbrush was surprisingly easy to get used to even though it's a completely different way of brushing your teeth. The brush is easy to use and very effective at removing plaque. After every brushing my teeth feel as if I've just been to the dental hygienist. The brush is designed well, comfortable to hold, and easy to operate. The 2-minute timer ensures that you brush the recommended amount of time and the 30 second beep tells you when to move the brush to another area of the mouth. My only minor complaint is that the on/off switch is in such a place that I frequently turn the brush off by accident. But I can honestly say I doubt I will ever go back to using a manual toothbrush.
