Great Product! Great Results!

When I found out I would be receiving the Sonicare Plaque Control Toothbrush as a free sample, I was really excited as I was tired of your good ole' boring toothbrush. I really enjoyed using this brush as it gave me a fresh feeling in my mouth and felt very clean. In just 8 days felt a difference and my teeth looked whiter. The speed of the brush was awesome as well!
Pros: easy to use, works great!

Product is great but the replacement brushes are ridiculously expensive. Just like buying cheap printers that use expensive ink.
Pros: does a good job, like the timer feature, holds a charge well when traveling
Cons: expensive replacement brushes, can't replace battery. must discard unit.

I love this brush except 1 small thing...

I was offered the opportunity to try this toothbrush out in exchange for a free sample if I wrote a review, and I am very pleased I was able to do so. I have tried Sonic-care electric toothbrushes in the past and have always been fond of them but after years of use my old one was finally retired.
One of the first pros I noticed with this toothbrush was how comfortable it was to grip. Its smooth and comfortable to hold in your hand and although the vibrations are strong its not uncomfortable to hold. Another pro I noticed was the timer or beep that goes off periodically to ensure you brush your teeth for the dentist suggested amount of time. In the instructions it details what area of the mouth to brush until the next beep, which was so incredibly helpful! Overall the most enjoyable part of this toothbrush for me was how clean and refreshed my mouth felt after brushing with it. I never felt that way when I brushed with a standard non-electric toothbrush.
The only con that came up while using this product was the size of the brush head that comes with it. Although your teeth do feel clean after using it, the size of the head is rather small, almost like a child`s toothbrush and that made me worry whether I was reaching all surfaces of my teeth. I am still very fond of this toothbrush, but I definitely would want to look into purchasing a larger head for it because as of now I feel like it has more potential in terms of comfortable cleaning power.

Cons: small brush head

This particular model I purchased is apparently the lower end of the Phillips Products, however it has performed greatly . I will continue to purchase and up-grade to another Phillips Sonicare product in the near future.

I also have had an easyclean model for the last 3 years....would rate that one higher. This newer model's battery life between charges is much shorter and it has a new drive system that is much louder than the easy clean (and kind of annoying in comparison) but it does its job the same up to this point as far as cleaning ability...the easyclean is still going strong after 3 years, we'll see how this one holds up over time!
Pros: cleans well
Cons: loud rattling sound not hum like old models, and charge runs out quicker than easyclean

Polished Feel Every Time

This tooth brush could not have come at a better time for me to review. My dentist has been getting on me about using an electric toothbrush for a while now and I was finally going to get one and the Phillips sample came in the mail about two weeks after my last apt. I have always had a problem with plaque, especially at my gum line, and I can not describe the difference this tooth brush has made for me. You know that `polished` feel to your teeth after you go to the dentist and get a cleaning? Well that is what my teeth feel like EVERY time I brush. At first I was very hesitant about using it because the first two times I used the toothbrush my gums bled (which is common for me with a harder toothbrush) but after that I have not had any more issues with my gums. I feel like my teeth are getting a much better cleaning than with a manual toothbrush and I am very pleased with this product. I have noticed less has been in my floss after using this toothbrush as well. I am so pleased with this toothbrush I am planning on purchasing them for my children in the near future.

I am a Dental Hygienist and I love the way this brush stimulates my gums ..ticklish at first then was a breeze to use..its the cleanest my teeth have ever felt.

Great plaque remover!

I recently received an electric toothbrush for a product review. It charged very quickly and does not require a full charge before use. It comes with a charging station, brush, and a cap for travel.(which I liked) Upon first use the pulsating toothbrush can be very powerful and a bit overwhelming. It took a day or two to get use to the power. I've used three other electric toothbrushes in the past and this toothbrush provides the best results by far. Although, I receive regular dental cleanings I struggle with plaque, but after a week of use this toothbrush, I've seen positive results. This toothbrush is absolutely up to the challenge. It truly gives a dental clean like you would receive after a dental visit.
Pros: very efficient in removing plaque build up.
Cons: small brush and over stimulating sensation.
