I have been using this electronic toothbrush for about a week now. It is great . It is very powerful and gets the job done. I always use electric toothbrushes but this brand is the real deal. Bit leaves your teeth feeling extra clean. I also like the fact that it is battery operated as well as plug in power. I received this product for free.

Review of Phillips Sonicare 2 Series Plaque Control toothbrush

Upon receipt of my Free Sample of the Sonicare Plaque Control Toothbrush, i immediately wanted to try it out. My teeth have begun to yellow more over time with the consumption of tea, coffee and other foods so i was excited to immediately see what this toothbrush could do for me.
Upon first use, the toothbrush hurt. The vibration of the brush and the hard plastic as it bumped against my other teeth sent uncomfortable vibrations throughout my body. This put me off right away since i did not take into account that this electronic brush may not be for sensitive teeth, but i persevered. The initial use showed an immediate improvement of how clean my teeth could be even though my first use was uncomfortable. My mouth felt cleaner, fresher and my teeth felt cleaner. At that moment, i decided i would continue to use it just to see if i could overcome the sensitivity issues.
After approx a week of use, my teeth have become much brighter, my mouth feels much better and my sensitivity too the vibrations of the brush has improved. Overall, i would say that if the hard plastic coating was replaced with a rubberized coating and if there were adjustable speeds to the toothbrush, this would be an even greater toothbrush. As for now, having only one speed and the hard plastic that occasionally bumps my other teeth (sensitive or not) is not something i am happy with, but the results outweigh the uncomfortable 5 minutes of use.
Pros: cleans thoroughly and removes stains
Cons: hard plastic tip hurts sensitive teeth, only one speed

This review is being written on a Sonicare toothbrush that I received for free as a sample. This is the first electronic toothbrush I`ve ever had. I certainly couldn`t see shelling out this much money for just a toothbrush! I`ve been pleasantly surprised with using this one however. It`s lightweight, charges quickly and retains the charge for several days. I do notice a big difference when brushing with this brush compared to my traditional toothbrush. I feel like I`m getting a more thorough cleaning. I do like the fact that the brush head is smaller because I don`t want some huge bulky brush in my mouth. Cons: It`s a bit noisy. Yes, I realize it`s an electric toothbrush and will make noise, but maybe I`m just not used to that when I brush my teeth. Also, it takes up too much space on the counter, and to me isn`t `cute and girly` like my nice fancy toothbrush pitcher that I was using for my regular toothbrush. I`m not sure how long this brush head will last, but given the cost of the replacements I don`t know that I will shell out that kind of money to replace it when it quits. It gets a `good` rating from me simply for the replacement cost and at what point that will happen. I`ve enjoyed using it for sure and have been pleased with the cleaning results though. If the brush head lasts for a couple of years and doesn`t stop working in a short time period, I can see the possibility of paying the money to replace the head.
I couldn't believe the difference between the Phillips and the spin brush I was using for years. Though this product tickles me when I brush the food particles come out in a hurry! I've got partials so it is real important to get in between the teeth. The brush head is small and thin so I wasn't sure how it would work. I was shocked to find it worked so much better than the old one I had been using for years. You will really like this.
Pros: easy to use and gets in places where it needs it.
Cons: none except it really tickles.

Good clean feel

I received a free sample of this toothbrush to review and I would say that overall I am satisfied with the product. I like how clean my teeth feel after using it (even after the very first use!). I feel like I just left the dentist office. It was easy to assemble right out of the box, pretty self-explanatory. I enjoy products that include a `quick start` guide, but this only included a book of directions. It seems to be a professional product, as I have used other `cheaper` toothbrushes before and felt like the quality wasn`t there. The intensity of the brush is a little much for my taste. I understand there is a `ease into it` feature, but I don`t have the time or desire to figure that out! The sound is also that of a dental drill-yikes. The brush feels quite bulky. It`s awkward to hold such a long brush when you`re used to a regular toothbrush, getting used to it. I would recommend it to a friend or family member, although I know electronic toothbrushes aren`t for everyone, especially those with sensitivities. All things considered, I will probably continue to use this product.

Closest thing to a professional dentist!

I received a free sample of this electric toothbrush in return for an honest review.
With its sleek design and quiet, yet powerful brushing action, the Philips Sonicare Electric Toothbrush, Plaque 2 Series is the closest thing to a professional cleaning. It’s designed to make sure you take the right amount of time (two minutes) to properly clean the four “quadrants” of your mouth. My favorite feature was the Smartimer, which “beeps” every 30 seconds to remind you to move to the next toothy quandrant. As you brush, its special cleaning action drives fluid between your teeth for a better cleaning and plaque busting, making it feel like I just came back from the hygienist. The vibration of the toothbrush hums against your lips as you brush, so that takes a little time getting used to.
But overall, the Philips Sonicare Electric Toothbrush, Plaque 2 Series is a great product for the price, especially since it feels like you’ve just had a great cleaning at the dentist.
It is simple to use, the only problem is when the plastic part of the brush contacts your teeth while brushing it is rather strange with the noise and vibration, but basically unavoidable. Still it is great and works well.
