Great Toothbrush

I received the Sonicare Plaque Control Toothbrush for free in exchange for using it and writing a review.
When you aren't used to using a toothbrush that vibrates, it takes a little getting used to, but that is a minor thing and only takes a couple of uses to become comfortable with it.
I found that the Sonicare Plaque Control Toothbrush is very easy to use and I think it does an excellent job cleaning my teeth. I truly feel that it is removing plaque that my regular manual toothbrush has not been removing and I think my teeth feel and look cleaner.
One thing that I don't care for is that it beeps and stops when you are supposed to change sides of your mouth. I find that to be a bit annoying and think that a simple warning beep would be sufficient and that the toothbrush doesn't need to actually stop (and the amount of time it stops for isn't even enough to switch sides). Next time you reconfigure the toothbrush, I would leave that out of the new design.
Overall, I like the toothbrush and would recommend it. I am anxious to see if I get a better review from my dentist at my next check-up.

Very nice toothbrush without to much extra junk that makes for all the extra cost,all your trying to do is get clean teeth and this brush will do that nice and clean

I got this tooth brush as a gift from my wife this Christmas, as my older one had seen better days after 5 years of use. I was so happy to get my new one which seems to me like an upgrade. i am very pleased with my tooth brush! And I always get compliments on my smile. This is a great toothbrush

This is a great toothbrush. It was easy to use right out of the box, I mean it`s a toothbrush, but still. I`ve used it now for just over a week, and I really like it. I will advise I was sent a free sample for the purposes of this unbiased review. I do feel I can see, and feel, a difference using the SoniCare brush over regular brushing. It`s strong enough to almost have that dentist office feel, but not so strong it`s uncomfortable. The brush itself is a good size, and fits well in my hand. The brush head was maybe a little small for me. Maybe it`s designed that way for a reason, or they make other sizes, but I`d rather have a little bigger size. I charged it when I first got it, and it`s been running on the same charge for a week. I haven`t noticed a decrease in power, so it seems to hold a charge well. I like the charging stand. It`s just a small base that holds the brush upright and charges. It doesn`t take up much space. The only real negative I have is that the brush is pretty strong, and if you brush with your mouth open, or like smiling at yourself, it sprays water and toothpaste a little. Not too bad, but that is how I always brushed my teeth and now tend to keep my lips closed around the brush as I move it around.
Overall I really like it, and enjoy using it. I had never had an electric toothbrush before, and don`t think I`ll go back after using this one. I would recommend it.
Pros: easty to use, fits well in hand, holds good charge
Cons: could use larger brush head, can spray water if mouth isn't closed

Great Toothbrush

First of all, I’d like to say that I received a free sample of this toothbrush for this review. I have been using an older Sonicare model toothbrush for a while, and really liked it, so I was excited to try out this new model.
The first thing that I noticed was that the toothbrush is light. This will make it much easy for packing and taking with me on trips. The head is smaller than my old toothbrush, but I like it because it allows me to reach the sides of my teeth and hard-to-get spots. It’s also very quick to charge. The brush bristles are soft and helps protect my gums. It seems to clean / brighten my teeth perfectly!
In conclusion, I really liked this product and think you’d be happy with it as well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not as good as previous unit that had two rechargeable batteries

Slim design but requires frequent battery charges.
My previous unit had two rechargeable batteries that worked for long periods of time.
Also when the wired in battery can no longer be charged the unit has to be discarded,poor concept.

I received a free sample of this toothbrush to provide a review, and I am so happy with it! In the past, I`ve generally stuck to the old manual toothbrushes, but also have dipped a little into a cheaper, battery operated toothbrush. I didn`t overly love the battery powered toothbrush I have tried in the past, since having to replace the battery seemed like a lot of upkeep, and also, the brush didn`t seem to be that much better or different than a manual. Also, I know when I`m at the store looking for a new toothbrush, I`m not always overly willing to spend money on a more expensive, electronic toothbrush. I would say this product is definitely worth the extra money. After first trying the Philips Sonicare toothbrush, my teeth felt `after the dentist` clean. I could really tell a difference, and felt the toothbrush provided more of a clean, fresh feeling than the brushes I`ve used in the past. It`s taken a few brushings to get used to the vibrations of the toothbrush. It tickled my mouth a little, but it`s something I have since gotten used to and I don`t notice it at all now. Also, since the vibration timer is set for 2 minutes, it sets a standard for me to follow for the recommended amount of time to brush. I think this is a great feature since I tend to rush through my morning routine, this timer keeps me on track, and I believe it promotes overall dental health. I would definitely recommend this product!
