Left my teeth feeling smooth and clean

I received a Sonicare Plaque Control Toothbrush to try for free and write a review. Prior to using it I was worried about the vibration that I have felt with other electric toothbrushes. I am happy to say that the vibration was minimal and it left my teeth feeling smooth and clean. I especially like it because I have permanent retainers in place and my dentist recommend it to keep plaque from building up on my retainers. I will defiantly recommend this toothbrush to my friends and overall, I was very happy with the Sonicare product.

This is a replacement from a better model and is very good. The only problem is that the brush doesn't fit properly and makes a vibrating noise but doesn't affect the use of the brush. Hopefully a replacement brush will be better but I am not ready for one yet.
I've used this brand for years and will continue to do so. It's a wonderful product.

A great value

I got this toothbrush free as a sample in exchange for providing an unbiased product review, and this is my first time using a Philips Sonicare toothbrush. I`ve had plenty of experience with cheaper electric toothbrush models and I have to say I think this one is a much better all around bang for your buck. This is the more basic model than some of the other Philips Sonicare toothbrushes, but it does everything you need nice and easy, and the results are great.
I know there are other Philips Sonicare models that do more, but at its core I think it functions exactly the same as the flashier models. Being that this toothbrush even at the base level is still representative of a fair sized investment I prefer the one with less buttons and less things to worry I might break, but that’s just me. This works perfectly at helping my teeth and my mouth feel exceptionally clean and that’s all I need it to do.
One of my favorite features of this toothbrush is the Quadspacer. Every 30 seconds the toothbrush vibrations pause and a light beep is emitted letting you know it’s time to move into the next quadrant of your mouth, ensuring you brush for the full 2 minutes but that you allot the appropriate amount of time to each section. The brush also shuts off automatically after 2 minutes, taking any of the guesswork out of it for you, which is especially nice first thing in the morning before my brain is fully awake. It also starts out with more subtle vibrations, slowly increasing in intensity over your first several brushings to allow your mouth the opportunity to get used to the sensation, which I thought is really great if you haven’t used an ultrasonic toothbrush before. Having made my way up to the full strength vibrations I think for me it would have been pretty uncomfortable to start at this level, but getting up to it slowly has been manageable. If you have experience with this type of toothbrush it is possible to bypass the gradual increase and just start it at full strength.
The directions said to charge it for 48 hours out of the box to make sure it is ready to go, but it was charged enough for me to use right away. I haven’t had any battery life issues, but I replace it on the charging platform after each use so I wouldn’t expect to. I like that it seems to shut off charging once it’s a full battery, so I don’t have to worry about it burning itself out from overdoing it. I also like the fact that the stand it is on is not a cradle, but a platform. I’ve had electronic toothbrushes in the past that came in a cradle and they invariable got water and toothpaste gunk in them that made them difficult to clean out. I think a platform is a lot easier to wipe down. The toothbrush head is very small but just the right size for brushing in the way they suggest being optimal (not scrubbing your teeth but passing the head back and forth over the surfaces), and the head itself is flexible, making it easier to maneuver in my mouth. The brush head also comes with a colored indictor strip on it that lets you know when it is time for replacing, which is I feel is going to be useful as long as it doesn’t fade more quickly than the wear on the brush indicates it should.
All told I think the Philips Sonicare Plaque Control Toothbrush is a great value. My mouth has never felt cleaner, my teeth are whiter and smoother and the brush itself seems to be very durable and several steps above less expensive electric toothbrushes I have had in the past that claim to perform as well but fall short. I don’t think you can find a better deal for the quality of product than this.

I received a free sample of this electric toothbrush to sample. This electric toothbrush does a much better job than any non-electric toothbrush. My teeth feel super clean after using it. There is a little buzz sound to let you know 30 seconds has passed and to switch quadrants. I enjoy this feature since it really forces me to brush for the full 2 minutes. The toothbrush was a little tickly on my gums at first, but after using it for a few weeks it doesn't bother me at all anymore. I have used a few other electric toothbrushes in the past, but what I love most about this one is that the handle is slim. Therfore, it's easy to reach the back of your molars. I've had other electric toothbrushes in the past that have a large handle causing a bit of an issue to reach all the way to the back of the mouth. It also holds the full charge for a long time and it's very light weight. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this electric toothbrush and highly recommend it to others.
Pros: lightweight, slim, holds a charge well, cleans wells

Great for gentle, thorough clean

Receiving this free sonicare toothbrush sample in the mail was a great opportunity to try a product I'd wondered about, but hadn't heard many reviews. Initially, I had a hard time resisting the habit of vigorously brushing my teeth. The pressure required was much less, but with great results. I wish this product had been available years ago. The vibration was quite strong, toothpaste sprays all over if not careful, and the noise was a bit of a deterrent when trying to get ready quietly. My dentist was over the moon enthusiastic about this toothbrush when I mentioned I'd been trying one. I find the 2 min shut off isn't long enough, as I am still getting used to the pace recommended for cleaning sections. The design is lightweight, with great battery life. The caring base is compact and unobtrusive. I took it camping for a weekend and had no problems. It takes getting used to, but I'm impressed with the results and will continue to use and recommend to friends!

Major cleaning

I received the Philips sonicare plaque control toothbrush for free in exchange for a honest review. I love this toothbrush! My teeth feel so clean after each use. It feels like a trip to the dentist. The toothbrush was a breeze to put together took less than 5 minutes. My two favorite features of the toothbrush are the design and timer. The design makes it comfortable and easy to brush my back teeth usually hard to reach with other toothbrushes. I love the timer because I know I'm getting a major cleaning. With other toothbrushes it's up to us to keep an eye on the clock, the timer takes the guess work out of it. I definitely would recommend and am planning on buying one for my husband.

This is a great toothbrush. I especially like the long length of the head. This makes it very easy to reach the hard to reach places. The toothbrush is equip with a timer that buzzes/vibrates in your mouth to signal to you to switch positions. This is so helpful in making sure you are brushing your teeth for the suggested amount of time. Without it, I would for sure be brushing for way too short of a time.
