My other Sonics worked better but I am poor and my teeth needed and missed using the Sonic so I bought the cheaper one out of desperation. Effective but smaller and I can't hear the timed interval alarm. And I keep shutting it off with my gripped fingers.
Pros: works effectively
Cons: harder to hear and harder to hold.

Close & Powerful Clean, but Great for Sensitve Teeth!

I honestly love this toothbrush.
I am a dental product junkie, and I love trying new dental hygiene products. I know it might sound silly, but when I received a free sample of the product in exchange for writing a review, I was thrilled to try it out!
I have sensitive teeth and 1 tooth where the gum line has slowly started to recede. What I noticed when I first used this product was that I found myself not brushing so hard as compared to using a regular, manual toothbrush. The brush seemed to glide nicely over my teeth and gums, while I barely had to apply any pressure at all. I`d known that electric toothbrushes were known for this - but using this brush almost seemed effortless.
My first thought upon using the product was WOW, that little brush head moves really fast! Definitely close your moth before you turn it on, to avoid mirror spray.
Because the brush head is small, I felt that it was better able to get into the nooks and crannies of my teeth and gums better. The ultimate test is always broccoli - and I felt that I got a much more thorough clean than with a manual toothbrush. The one drawback of the smaller brush head is that it takes you longer to cover your whole mouth - but that`s definitely a worthy trade-off for a better clean, in my opinion! It also automatically shuts off after a certain amount of time, so that you can make sure you`re brushing thoroughly enough.
I was pleasantly surprised to find that the charge lasts quite awhile, and there`s no need to constantly keep the product on the charger, like electric toothbrushes of the past. I`ve been using mine for a week already and it hasn`t needed a second boost of charge yet. The charging unit is also very compact, so it packs and transports very easily.
The grip of the brush is nice - not too thick and not too thin. I felt that everything was compartmentalized nicely, meaning, the number of areas where old water/toothpaste can get in and hide (and get germy) was very limited. This is pretty important to me, as I can`t imagine investing in a product that could potentially not be cleanable.
The one challenge I encountered is that brushing the tongue and roof of mouth is harder to do with this product, versus a manual toothbrush. I haven`t looked into it yet, but it would be great if this product offered different attachments for cleaning of these specific areas.
Lastly, I kept my same flossing and mouthwash habits while testing out his product, and I do feel that I had less to floss, and my mouth felt fresher for longer. I love this brush!

Great upgrade for manual toothbrushers

Coming from someone who is very used to manual toothbrushes, I was not disappointed when I upgraded to this electronic version. The toothbrush was assembled and running within about 30 seconds of opening the package, no real assembly required. The brush comes with a relatively small head which, while making it easy to clean deep in the mouth, seemed to be slightly too small for my preference. The noise level isn't too bad for an electric toothbrush and isn't bothersome. What I particularly appreciate about this brush is its simplicity and its sturdiness. I have a 3 year old who finds it fascinating, and she has been able to use it easily without me being concerned it will break. Also, the battery life is very good- I didn't charge it after I initially got it, and it was days before I remembered to actually plug it in to charge.
Overall, I am quite satisfied with this brush, which I received for free for this review, and would recommend it. I will look for a larger size replacement head once this one wears out.

Excellent for beginners!

I received this electronic toothbrush for free in exchange for a review. I have never had an electronic toothbrush until now and have always heard that they are more efficient than regular toothbrushes. I was eager to try this out and can say that it did a great job. I can't compare the strength behind it to more updated electronic models, but this one does the trick. It is a little noisy but I would assume all electronic toothbrushes are. It's nice that all you have to replace is the heads when the bristles wear down. The gradual power increase over the first handful of times using it is ideal for new beginners. The rechargeable battery makes traveling easy. A great first toothbrush!

Great first experience with an electric toothbrush!

I received a free sample of this toothbrush in exchange for an honest review about a week ago. I was a little hesitant to switch from a manual toothbrush to a powered one but it didn`t take long at all to get used to the vibrations. I think the easy start feature helps with that - it increases the power over the first 14 uses to give you time to adjust. The head is a little smaller but it feels like that`s helping it clean all the nooks and crannies of my teeth. It really provides that fresh from the dentist feeling! The toothbrush was light and easy to use - you just connect the brush head to the base and you`re ready to go. It`s still going strong on the first charge so I`m pleased with the battery life thus far. The only negative - this seems like the base model compared with my boyfriend`s electric toothbrush - his has more options. But overall, I`m very pleased with this toothbrush!
Pros: lightweight & easy to use
Cons: no bells & whistles

I was looking for waterpik/toothbrush and could not find at stores I went to. I could find a separate waterpik. My next purchase will be one that has both. I like my Phillips toothbrush, other toothbrushes do not compare.
