This base level Philips Sonicare does what an electric toothbrush should do. It gives a thorough cleaning, is easy to use, gives 30-second reminders when to switch to a different part of the mouth, and holds a charge well. It doesn't have the bells and whistles of the higher level Sonicare toothbrushes, but I don't really know what practical value those might add. It's kind of like all of those buttons on the microwave when all that you really use is "On" and "Defrost" (and, sometimes, "Popcorn"). This Sonicare is sturdy, comfortable to hold and reliable, cleans the teeth and massages the gums. I am very satisfied with it.
Pros: no frills
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great product!

I received a free Sonicare Plaque Control Toothbrush and was really glad I did. I don`t currently use nonelectric toothbrushes, just the `manual` kind. There were so many things I liked about this particular toothbrush. To start, it fit easily in my mouth. When I went back to my old toothbrush, I noticed how much bigger it seemed, perhaps unnecessarily! I have sensitive gums and felt that this brush was gentile enough to treat them nicely, but still got in between my teeth and the hard to reach places. This brush does have a timed beep that tells you went to switch to another quadrant of your mouth which I liked, however the time seemed super long. The vibration is pretty quiet for those that get ready when others are sleeping and the base is sturdy enough to easily stand on my counter without toppling over.
In general, I think this is a great brush, however I don`t know that I would pay for one over a manual toothbrush.
Cons: i do think it is a bit expensive.

I love this product! I should mention that I received a free sample to review, but that has not influenced the opinions that I am sharing here. For the first time in my life, I can say that I actually look forward to brushing my teeth. We always hear about how the health of our teeth can affect many other aspects of our health. Even though I know it is important and have always brushed my teeth regularly, I have always hated how time-consuming it has been, as well as how my teeth have never felt truly clean after brushing. This product makes brushing my teeth an extremely efficient process. The brush is much more powerful than I was expecting (but does not cause any pain), and my teeth feel so smooth after a short amount of time. I was skeptical of the small size of the brush head, but it does everything it needs to do and more! Also, the brush and charging stand are sleek and slim so I am not annoyed by having them on my counter. I would highly recommend this product.

After a few weeks it is now easy to use and the beeps of the timer make it convenient to do a good job. I am pleased with the results every time! Take the time to read the directions and keep the back of the toothbrush away from your teeth. What a great toothbrush! Thanks!

i have a very small mouth and it is hard to get to the inside teeth and this toothbrush really helps do that. i do wish the replacement heads weren't so pricy and also offered you options on the size

The Sonicare toothbrush really cleans great. it gets in the spots I can't reach with my regular toothbrush. overall I loved this toothbrush. I will continue to keep buying the Sonicare brand for me and my family .
Pros: it charges fast, easy to take with you if you travel, the heads are easy to replace
