Not a fan of an electric toothbrush

After reading about the many benefits of an electric toothbrush, I have wanted to use one for a while. So I was excited when I was offered a free one in exchange for writing a review.
Set up was easy, plug it in and charge! I let it charge fully overnight. The green light stopped flashing and I was ready to have my first electronic toothbrush experience!
And, I did not like it. I was fine without having to "scrub" my teeth and just let the toothbrush do it by moving it back and forth, however, the constant vibrations made me feel like my brain was bouncing around in my head. After using it for the recommended amount of time (30 seconds per quadrant of the mouth) I didn't have the same clean feel like I do when I use a manual toothbrush, and I ended up brushing my teeth the old fashioned way again.
Features are nice: a beep to let you know that you had to move on to a new section of your mouth, it's easy to clean, and it's easy to get replacement bristles for the brush. I just did not like the overall experience.
Pros: easy to set/up use
Cons: mouth did not feel clean after brushing
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love the way my mouth feels after I get done brushing my teeth. After years of using a manual toothbrush I realized I will never go back to manuals and I highly recommend the Philips brand.
Pros: teeth feel fully cleaned along with my gums
Cons: can seem to produce a lot of salvia

Worth the Investment in the long run!

This is the first time I have ever used an Electric Toothbrush. I was always curious about them but found the cost to be too expensive to purchase. Luckily, I received this free sample sonicare toothbrush to review. It took me an entire week to finally get used to using an electronic vs the old way of using a standard toothbrush.
I opened the box and the instructions were fairly simple to assemble. I like the idea that the toothbrush already came charged so I could start using it right away. It came with two standard pieces, the brush head and the body along with a charger stand.

The sonic bristles takes time getting used to as I was not prepared to feel the sensitivity and vibration of the brush. After a week I was used to the sensation and it did not bother me as much as it did in the beginning.
The product cleans the teeth and gums fairly well! I did notice how clean my teeth felt after the first time using it. It reached even the hardest places in the back of my mouth and left barely any residue.
Things that could be improved about it, is I wished it had a start/stop timer to let you know that you have cleaned one area long enough and to let you move to another part of your mouth. I would like to have seen it come with an extra bristle head and maybe a compact case for travel.
I have nothing bad to say about this product and I would definitely recommend it to others! Overall, I am highly impressed with how clean this left my mouth feeling. I don`t know why it took me this long to try one and it is definitely worth the investment!

A clean you can feel

I received a free sample of this toothbrush and have been nothing but pleased with it`s performance. I high recommend this product for a few reasons. I have incredibly sensitive teeth, and was nervous at first about using this product, thinking it would be too harsh. Fortunately, I was wrong! The gentle motion did not cause any pain to my sensitive teeth, and left my mouth feeling as clean as if I just left the dentist office! Since I have begun using this toothbrush, i have not been able to go back to a regular toothbrush because the effects of the Sonicare Plaque and Control Toothbrush are differences you can both see and feel. I am also very pleased with how small and easy to use the charger is. It is easy to travel with, and the toothbrush does not take long to charge and does not need to be charged every day. I have found this product to be extremely effective and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice clean smile.

My teeth are clean!

Prior to receiving this Sonicare toothbrush as a sample to test, I had not used an electric toothbrush. I have found this to work very well and leave a better feeling of clean than my regular brush. The bristles seem to go around the teeth well and do a good job of cleaning. The heads need to be replaced every 3 months but i will most likely do it sooner so we will see what the replacement heads cost. The unit charges well on the provided base and holds the charge very well.
Pros: cleans teeth well, easy to use

Good Cleaning Power - Smaller Size

I received this product as a free sample in exchange for writing this review. I have used the toothbrush for 11 days now. When I first took it out of the package, it seemed much smaller than my 4 year old Sonicare toothbrush. I thought, from its size, that it might not be as powerful, but I was quickly proven wrong. The toothbrush is pretty powerful, and cleaned my teeth as well or better than my older model. Due to its smaller circumference, it took a few brushing sessions to get used to...sometimes it would slip out of my hand. Once I got to day 3 and 4, I was brushing as normal.
Likes: power, cleaning
Dislikes: size - takes getting used to
Overall I would recommend this toothbrush as my teeth seem cleaner than when using my existing Sonicare brush.
