So fresh and so clean clean!

I received the Sonicare Plaque Control Toothbrush in exchange for providing a candid and honest product review. The toothbrush is very powerful and my mouth and teeth felt VERY clean after brushing. It has a feature that the toothbrush pauses ever so slightly and `buzzes` to indicate 30 seconds have passed so that you can split up the recommended 2 minutes of brushing between top outside/top inside/bottom outside/bottom inside and then shuts off after 2 minutes. You`re able to turn the toothbrush right back on by pushing the button even after it turns off if you`d like to continue with more cleaning. I was a bit concerned with the small head as it seemed much smaller than other brushes I've used but the toothbrush provided a superior cleaning to other battery operated brushes I`ve used previously with larger brush heads. I have crowns on my front two top teeth and the pressure on the toothbrush causes me a bit of sensitivity to those teeth but nothing uncomfortable. I was very pleased with this product and can`t imagine going back to a `regular` toothbrush after feeling how fresh and clean my teeth feeling after using the Sonicare Plaque Control Toothbrush!
Pros: very powerful, timer to indicate switching areas of mouth, auto shutoff after 2 minutes

This product cleans teeth better than any other toothbrush I've ever used...both conventional and electric.

I received a free sample of this toothbrush to review. I was very skeptical at first, wondering how it could be any different than the electric toothbrush I've already been using for years. The first thing I noticed was that the brush was different. Unlike my current electric toothbrush head, it had no moving parts. My current toothbrush has a rotating head that is powered by the toothbrush base. When I turned it on for the first time, I couldn't believe how quiet it was compared to a normal electric toothbrush. The handle almost tickled your hand when it was running. I soon as I put the brush to my teeth, it almost felt like the toothbrush was not even moving and cleaning my teeth. I couldn't have been more wrong. The ultrasonic pulses of the toothbrush were actually working quite well. It took a little getting used to as my gums would tickle a little when the brush got close. The toothbrush automatically shuts itself off when the brushing cycle is complete. When I rinsed, I could not believe how clean my teeth felt. It felt as if I just came from the dentist. Pro's and Con's. First the Pro's. This toothbrush does an excellent job in getting your teeth clean. Since the toothbrush does it's work with ultrasonic pulses instead of the head twisting back and forth, I think the toothbrush heads will last longer. Only time will tell. It's quieter than other electric toothbrushes, however you have to get accustomed to the slightly high pitch sound it does produce. The built in timer is nice and it even uses a shorter frequency when you first start to use the toothbrush in order for your teeth and gums to get used to the unique cleaning action. The plastic cap that fits over the toothbrush head when you're not using it is a nice touch. It will help keep bathroom germs off it when it sits on the charging base. Ok, now the cons. The sound takes a little getting used to. Some people may relate the sound to a dentist office. I got used to it after the second day or so and now seems totally normal to me. I would like the green charging light to stay on when it's fully charged on the charging stand. The light turns off when it's fully charged and I always think it's not plugged in or I blew a fuse. Not many con's to speak of and the pro's far outweigh them.
I can honestly say, I am putting my old electric toothbrush in the drawer and sticking with this Sonic Care unit. I am thankful I got the opportunity to try it for myself, as I do not think I would have ever considered purchasing it as I thought all electric toothbrush technology and operation was the same. I couldn't have been more wrong. For this first time in my life, I actually look forward to using it, as the clean teeth feeling afterwards is beyond words.

Pros: cleans teeth like a professional, wipes down easily
Cons: replacement heads could be cheaper

After having my dentist recommend Sonicare for my use, I ordered one. In just one week I could tell there was a difference: really tongue-smooth tooth surfaces inside my mouth every time I used it...and rosy gums, too! I love the little beeps every 30 seconds to remind me to change quadrants, and the fact it has the auto-turn-off after it runs 2 minutes made me realize I never used to brush that long before. First visit to the dentist after I started using Sonicare, my dentist and hygienist both agreed my oral hygiene is much improved. Success!

I absolutely love this toothbrush, it is like a little spa for your mouth! The clean of the brush is similar to the cleaning you get from the dentist when they use the polish on your teeth. The Sonicare toothbrush is super simple to use and it stays charged for a while. When you get the product there is some assembly, but it isn`t much. You just have to put the head of the toothbrush on. I would definitely would recommend this product to friends and family.

I received a free sample of this Sonicare toothbrush to review and I must admit I'm hooked. This is my first experience with a Sonicare toothbrush and I am amazed how clean my teeth feel. There are a couple of features that I like best. The first is that you can set the toothbrush to increase the power over the first 14 brushes. If you are not used to this type of toothbrush that is a great feature. I was a little shocked at first at the intensity of the brushing and my front teeth were a tad sore, but I have adapted over the past week with no problems. The other feature is my favorite, it is called the Quadpacer. It is a short pulse on 30 second intervals to let you know to move to the next section of your mouth. The toothbrush then shuts off after 2 minutes! The only thing that I would improve would be the size of the brushing head, it seems small like a child's toothbrush. There may be a reason for that but I am not used to that small of a brush head. My overall impression is that this type of toothbrush is easy to operate and definitely cleans your teeth better than standard brushing. My whole family will be getting one!

I owned another make of electric toothbrush for over 15 years. Finally it broke and I was given the opportunity to receive a free Sonicare toothbrush in exchange for a review. The first use it felt very different, like there was less motion. However, after using it for the allotted time, my teeth felt as clean as they do when I just leave the dentist. Pretty cool feeling if you ask me! I`m really hoping this one will last as long. I took it right out of the box and used without reading the directions but I do recommend you read them as it is shipped on a lower setting to give a person time to get used to the feeling (personally I don`t feel a need for an acclimation time frame). After having it a few days, I figured I better at least review the instructions and that is how I learned to change the sensitivity training. Personally, I didn`t feel much difference between the two but perhaps others have more sensitive teeth. I definitely like it better than the other electric brush I had. It will be interesting to see how my next dentist appointment goes - my teeth feel super clean! I would recommend this brush!

I received a free sample of this toothbrush to review and I have to say I love it. I have tried other electronic toothbrushes in the past and they were bulky, loud, and ugly. The Sonicare Plaque Control Toothbrush was none of those, it was simple but elegant, it didn`t feel bulky in my hand, and it was quiet. Most importantly it actually works, I felt three times the freshness than with an ordinary brush and my teeth look fabulous after each brush. I feel like I wont have to brush my teeth for a week after each use, for the first time I cant wait to go to the dentist to see what he has to say.
