Our last Sonicare lasted a very long time...possibly 12 years. Then one day it just quit. We almost gave it a funeral because of its outstanding service. Sonicare will always have a space in our bathroom.

We love this toothbrush so much! Our teeth feel like a new kind of clean! We find that we're brushing several times a day now, and when we travel, we feel a big difference using our regular old brushes.

This is our third generation Philips toothbrush. Each product design evolution has seen a steady product improvements. This is product is much easier to keep clean than previous toothbrushes
Pros: weighs less, charger base much smaller & lighter, much easier to clean, less material in brush replacement
Cons: does not seem to hold a charge as long
