After having a Flex Care + for several years, we decided to try the Series 2 since it was offered in a dual handset package along with the chargers and travel cases. From the beginning we were disappointed in the lack of quality compared to the Flex Care +. The Series 2 is harder to hold and the timer for brushing operation is somewhat unpredictable. The shape and lack of any texture is what contributes to the difficulty in holding. The packaging stated the battery would hold a charge for up to two weeks which made it great for travel use. Neither of the handles have lasted more than 3 to 4 days on a full charge. The price was much lower, but in the end we did not expect the quality to drop so dramatically.
Pros: low price timed brushing.
Cons: difficult to hold., battery life is not as advertised., brushing intensity poor.
I tried this toothbrush because I had to get a deep cleaning at the dentist. This toothbrush makes my teeth feel so clean. I just bought one for my husband. I had a cold and used a manual toothbrush because I didn't want to get cold germs on it. I couldn't wait to go back to using this toothbrush. Once you use it you won't want to switch again.
