For years I resided the notion of making a change from our old eletric tooth brush and over a period of time I would merely switch the type of brush we used with it;
I suppose that was the hint I needed, telling me I wasn't satisfied with the job it was doing. So when the unit broke down I asked our dentist for a recommendation and he said PANASONIC.
When I went to make my purchase, I was still resisting making the change, but the store didn't have my old brand, they had the Pansonic. I stood holding the box for awhile, trying to decide if I wanted to make the change...it was an investment and with the problem my husband has with his gums, I finally gave in and purchased the Pansonic.
Two months have gone by since the purchase and I have to say....I wish I did it ages ago.
My mouth...gums and teeth never felt so good. I actually enjoy the cleaning process, something I never got from my old unit and when I glide my tongue over my teeth, I actually notice the difference.
I hope this review is helpful to others who hate making a change...I'm not sorry I did, I only wish I did it sooner.

I like the Philip's Sonicare, but it takes some getting use to. I really wish I had gotten the next model up because it had more whistles and bells, I believe would have helped me. It does a fine job! From the first time I used it, my teeth felt so much cleaner. I highly recommend it.

We have used and love our Sonicare toothbrushes for almost a decade. Without it we would feel like our teeth were "unclean" so to speak. The past two models we used had a timing feature - it buzzed every 30 seconds to let you know how much time was left for cleaning and budgeting the space-time continuum - with apologies to Einstein. This particular model we purchased did not have that feature and we miss it. Having it now for more than a month, if we do not allocate our time correctly, we just start it again. With two busy professionals, time means a lot and the timing feature is something we miss. However, it is still the best item in its class!

This was the best decision purchasing my new Philips Sonic Toothbrush. I feel like I've just come from the dentist each time I use it. My teeth feel much cleaner then when I brushed with a manual toothbrush.
