Worst phone ever.......

I really wish I read the reviews before getting this phone. When I saw it I was intrigued by the touch screen.
I had to return the first phone because the caller id function would not work properly. The only thing that displayed on the screen was that there was an incoming call. Half of the call box was displayed.
When I recieved the phone everything was working fine until I went through the same caller id problem.
Just like a lot of other people the phone constantly freezes.
When I manuever the phone to go to landscape at times it stays in portrait and vice versa.
In order to bypass a lot of the problems I have to turn the phone off and then turn it back on.
I got the phone in November and I honestly can't wait for a year to upgrade to another phone. I will purchase another phone and switch it out.
Whatever you do...DO NOT GET THE INCITE!!!!
Pros: battery life, speaker
Cons: freezes, operating system, poor navigation, small keys, software bugs
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

WIFI is great...hey folks if you get this and cant get it to work adjust your proxy settings! SIMPLE AS THAT...WIFI! Stylus is a little tricky, but you'll need it for the small buttons! Overall great phone!
Pros: tools, Wi-Fi capable
Cons: small keys

i have had this phone for some time now and think its a great phone but like all other phones it has its problems. the battery on it is not the greatest but it does work for me and im a very heavy texter. the second problem is that the software does bug sometimes but it works fine. the rest of the phone is great!
Pros: camera/video quality, durable, ease of use, games, good for texting, menus, speaker, tools, Wi-Fi capable
Cons: battery life, software bugs
I would recommend this to a friend!

This phone is an okay phone, but the screen, which is basically the point of a touchscreen, doesn't respond to your touches very well at all. It has many features...but that doesn't matter when it's hard to access them. It has an "x" button in the corner to close programs, but any "buttons" that are on the edge of the screen are very hard to push. I once pushed the same icon 15 times with no result. The battery barely lasted me a day, and that's without the internet and not texting that much. Overall it doesn't really stand up to the normal use of a user like me, let alone a business person. So if business is what it's for....forget it. It does have the loudest speaker/ringer i've heard on a phone though...IF you get this phone, you might want to purchase an extra battery, otherwise, it's not too bad.
Pros: speaker, tools, Wi-Fi capable, volume level
Cons: battery life, freezes
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

nice package, poor manufacturing quality

I went through two LG Incites in 3 weeks for various reasons: the first one had a bad antenna and it often froze up (sleep of death). I took it in for a replacement. The second one also would do the sleep of death, and after one week the sound suddenly quit.
I really liked the package, but the quality of the manufacturing was horrible. These kind of problems indicate poor manufacturing and shoddy hardware drivers. I finally took it back and went back to my old phone until something nice and small, like the LG Incite, comes along in a well made package.
Pros: battery life, camera/video quality, Wi-Fi capable
Cons: durability, freezes, software bugs, volume level
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Don't buy

The phone sounds good, but after using mine for 6 months I would not do it again. The screen is really slow, the phone forgets and has to be reset to reconnect to the network and is generally a pain to use.
Pros: battery life, Wi-Fi capable
Cons: freezes, limited memory, poor navigation, software bugs

I waited for this phone to come out and I was sooo excited until I started to use it, within the 1st 2 days it began to freeze up on me to the point where I had to take out the battery to reset the phone. Recently it has started hiding the keypad that you use to unlock the phone...it will be a white screen with an entry space and the icon bar across the top and no keys, I have to take the battery out and start over, and I lose any messages I have recieved recently including those I never got to read. The camera takes a solid 6 seconds to shutter and even after that it doesnt capture for another 3 or for so forget pictures of kids or anything that isnt still life. I wouldnt recommend this phone to anyone.

great phone..

I have had this phone for over a month. I love the phone. I read all the reviews before I purchased the phone and a lot of the things written I haven't experienced. The Cons with this phone that I have experienced are that it sometimes freezes up. When receiving calls it will cut the number off to the bottom of the screen. I find myself having to reboot the phone(taking the battery out) to correct the problems. There is no way to assign ringtones. If you can get past those few things the phone is great.
Pros: battery life, camera/video quality, durable, ease of use, menus, speaker, Wi-Fi capable
Cons: freezes, small keys, can't assign ringtones
