An ok phone, with some annoying down falls.

First off I have had this phone for 8 months. It was an awesome phone in the first few until I started experiencing some problems with the phone. I didn't think it would get any worse but to my demise it did.
Some Pros for this phone are its durability. I am a sixteen year old boy and I play baseball and it stays in pocket during practice, and I have never had a problem, except some scratches, from it being there. It has a great battery life. It can go for days without being chraged while using it everyday. The tools and Wi-Fi capability I am not a big user of but from when I have they were very useful in what I was trying to do. The Cons of this phone could probably go on into next year. When charging the phone the battery gets way to hot and if it under a blanket or a pillow while you sleep it makes the screen mess up and cause discolorations. It is a heavy phone it reminds me of a brick. I somewhat liked this because it reminds me that I have it so I am not constantly looking for it. It freezes a lot. When you reset it you lose any unread messages in your inboxes. (email, im, text). The operating system, navigation small keys all ties in about the third month when the screen starts to give out. I mean that by if i press menu at the bottom of the screen it registers the click up at the top of the screen and clicks text messaging. Later the phone started the same thing but instead of registering above where I clicked it registered to the left of where I clicked. It even gets to the point to it does not even register at all. Some other down falls is the stylus its seperate and it hangs off the side of the phone like the charms you can buy for a Razr. I threw mine away the third day and just started using my thumbs. It comes with computer software which I installed and it still has been no help to me. The sound keys are on the side, even when the backlight is on but the phone is locked they work and it amkes an annoying dinging sound and it goes faster the longer something is on the key. Try to explain that to your teacher in class when the desk hits it. The camera has good quality but when using the three highest resolutions it takes away the zoom on the camera. Although the camera takes away the zoom I would have to admit it does have cool features. Editing, background drops, hats, and frames that you can take a picture of with your friends. Two other things that I found annoying was the screen would flip to a side all the time when receiving a text or call making it hard to answer but during the days when the callibration was messing up not only would it make it hard to reply or answer the phone, you couldn't even hit the unlock button to do either of the two! When it did this it would make the phone impossible to use for a couple of hours or for several days or even up to weeks. There also isnt a lot of customization options. No special ringtones, no special things in particular. The final thing was the freezing. From day one. it froze, froze, froze, and guess what? It froze some more. Sometimes on average this phone would freeze 3 to 5 times a day. Now the phone had its days. Sometimes it would work sometimes I would just quit and go back to my old phone. The most times the phone froze on me in a twenty-four hour period was seventeen. The bluetooth is confusing to learn how to use. It took me months to finally understand it and when I did it was fast going but when trying to save the file it was confusing also. Hope this helps.
At first it was a little hard to figure out but now I love it!! I have had it a couple of weeks battery life is okay but I text all/facebook/wifi all day long. GREAT phone!! comparable to the iphone if you take the time to figure it out ;)
Pros: battery life, good for texting, menus, speaker, Wi-Fi capable
Cons: durability, freezes
I would recommend this to a friend!

The great thing about this phone that everyone fails to realize is the "Internet Sharing" feature that it has. You can use this phone as a modem via a USB cable or...as a WIRELESS MODEM via bluetooth. AT NO EXTRA CHARGE!!!! It's compatible with all mac computers with a free program called SyncMate. I am a writer and i go to th beach with my macbook link my hone to my computer via bluetooth, and just like that I'm connected. The video camera on this hone is amazing!!! You can use it all over the world, so if you travel a lot this phone is a plus!!! It also has turn by turn gps which means, it tells you the play by play on where to go! This phone also has a video share feature which I finally used and let me just say...other companies need to step their game up!
Pros: camera/video quality, menus, tools, internet sharing, global use, navigation
Cons: small keys

I have had this phone for 3 months and I hate it! I was really excited about it at first, but that wore off soon. It freezes, turns off for no reason and the only way to get it back on is to take the battery out. It's slow when texting, slow at the screen changing directions, etc... After 2 months the camera broke and it had the phone had to be replaced.I have been a smartphone user for several years now and had the Black Jack before I bought this phone. Needless to say, I sold the Incite and purchased the Black Jack II.
Pros: ease of use
Cons: battery life, freezes, software bugs
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very bad design

I just stopped using this phone. My biggest complaint is the design of the features. There are no easy-to-use shortcut keys. I really dislike the calender layout. The screen is supposed to turn the way you move the phone (horizontally or vertically), but the phone is very slow and by the time you have turned the phone it takes several seconds for the screen to catch-up. It's nearly impossible to use your fingers all the time (and I have tiny fingers) because the screen is so small. I ended up having to use the pen most of the time. Headphones/speaker were not included with the phone. You can barely hear the ringtone, even at full volume. The text message screen often doesn't show either the keyboard or the message you are writing automatically. You have to press some more buttons for this. Overall this phone is terrible. They obviously were not thinking of the user when they designed it. The only pro I can think of is the battery life. It wasn't great but it wasn't bad. I stopped using the INCITE and ordered a Sony. The Sony phones are really easy to use, they have loud ringtones and great texting. The calender is great and so are the alarms.
the lg incite is great. it is easy to text on after getting used to the virtual qwerty keyboard. the internal wifi and gps are a huge plus (downloading google maps is a must). the phone has a lot of versatility due to its windows mobile 6.1 os. all in all, a great around phone
Pros: good for texting, menus, tools, Wi-Fi capable, ease of adding programs to
Cons: small keys, screen scratches easily (use screen protector.

Got this phone about 3 months ago and really wish I would have used it more in the first 30 days because I would have returned it. Now it is too late. I REALLY hate this phone. It randomly calls people and I hear someone in my purse screaming, "HELLO!" Even when using the stylus, I end up calling the wrong people. It also has a delay when following voice prompts (screen is blank when I need the keyboard). I finally gave up with this phone and gave it to my 11 year old, who thinks it is really cool. All his friends think he has the best phone of all. Admittedly, he is spending a lot of time learning the features (reading the manual) and has done a lot more with the phone than I did. This phone is for people who want a lot of high tech features and have the time to figure them out.
Pros: battery life
Cons: poor navigation, too complicated, display lag time
