A great phone, if you want to learn how to us it
on April 8, 2009

I really like my incite. Heres the thing guys, if you don't want to learn how to use it and take advantage of its full capacity, then don't buy it. And, if you're not too great with technology i wouldn't recommend it either. This is a great phone with a lot of features. One of the greatest things, is that you can install things that you download from your computer, or the built in Wi-Fi very similarly to your computer, there are countless websites that have applications such as games, accessibility and entertainment all for free. Some of the default software isn't the best, but its easy to replace with a better version you get from the internet. I think this is an overall great phone, you just gotta learn how to use it and take advantage of what it has to offer. Also if you have a bit more money to spend, i would recommend the HTC Fuze because it is also a very good phone, just pricier.
Pros: battery life, games, good for texting, menus, speaker, tools, Wi-Fi capable
Cons: durability, not user friendly
I would recommend this to a friend!

BUYER BEWARE!!!!

I've had an incite for less than a year, actually I've had 3 incites' in less than a year! i have never wrote a review before about anything, but after reading the other reviews, i have to concur...
this may be the worst phone I've ever owned!!!
(and i owned a RAZOR!!!) Let me make this short and sweet, the Win. operating system...is horrible. Everything you have read, or will read about the excessive freezing, ridiculas load times, sloppy navigation...(working your way through the phone to fix it... so you can use it at all....if you can EVER GET THERE!) screen alinement and gesture malfunctions...is absolutly true. I dont know if its funny or sad that everyone agrees...sad that we wasted our money, cause like most people,im lookin for an iPhone now!!!if only to change operating systems. dont waste your money , and definatly read the other reviews thanks for readin, hope this helps!!
Cons: battery life, freezes, limited memory, operating system, poor navigation, small keys, software bugs, everything ealse!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Affordable PDA-style phone

I've only had my Incite for one day now, but have not been able to put it down. Mobile Office, Email xPress, Instant Messaging, and WiFi internet access are all enthralling.
At first I was having some issues with the touch screen not responding correctly, but after messing more with the phone I was able to get used to it. Some people have stated that you cannot use MP3s as ringtones; this is NOT TRUE! The MP3 file needs to be less than 150kb in order for the phone to see it as a ringtone and saved in the Ringtones folder under My Documents. The only real issue I have is that it takes some time for the phone to change the orientation when you want to use the full-sized QWERTY keyboard.
Pros: battery life, menus, tools, Wi-Fi capable, mp3 ringtones, microsoft outlook sync, common headphone jack
Cons: small keys, slow orientation change, non-programable buttons
I would recommend this to a friend!

worst phone I have ever owned

almost impossible to easily navigate. keys are too small. radio is terrible. can't use AT&T ringtones (I have wasted too much of my life trying to figure out how to do this and numerous other things that are stupid simple on my older cell phone). switching to landscape view and back sometimes takes 5+ seconds (forget it if you are running for example). the tones for the alarm clock are barely audible.
Pros: battery life, camera/video quality, speaker
Cons: limited memory, poor navigation, small keys, volume level
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

TERRIBLE PHONE!!! DO NOT BUY!!
on June 16, 2009

I use this phone for 3 main things... calling people, scheduling my appointments, and texting. This phone freezes more than any other touch screen phone I have ever used and it has recently locked me out of my phone and my touch screen doesn't work so I cannot use it at all. If my phone freezes and if I receive any text messages before I take out my battery to reset it I will lose those messages and not know who texted me. This phone also will freeze in the middle of a call and drop my call so I have to take out the battery and reset it twice before it is functional again. If I have an alarm set or an appointment coming up, it often fails to remind me of the upcoming appointments. It scratches easily, even with a case, and the touch screen is not very responsive (it will choose another application instead of the one you click on). THIS IS A TERRIBLE PHONE! Save your money and buy another phone like a blackberry, I had one before I bought this phone and now I have switched back to my blackberry after only 5 months of having the LG Incite. I would NEVER recommend this phone to anyone because I would not want anyone to ever feel the frustration I do.
Cons: freezes, small keys
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a very very cool phone even though it is a smartphone it still meets my needs for a fourteen year old. other people claim that this phone freezes i have had it for 1 month now and it has not frozen once i have never even had to reset it the key is to close out of programs instead of just hitting the end key. that way you dont have as many things running the wifi works great.
Pros: camera/video quality, ease of use, good for texting, Wi-Fi capable
Cons: battery life, limited memory
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love it!!

I've had this phone for about 6 months now and I would definitely take it over an iPhone any day! My only complaint is that the stylus, after a while, has a hard time staying open. Other than that, I love it! Compact, easy to use, and with the expanded memory slot, I have been able to add tons of games, pictures, ringtones and mp3's.
Pros: battery life, camera/video quality, durable, ease of use, games, good for texting, menus, speaker, tools, Wi-Fi capable
Cons: stylus pen
I would recommend this to a friend!
