Nice phone, but no Wi-Fi without data plan

I decided to get this phone because I did not have a data plan and I wanted to get internet access. This phone has Wi-Fi and it receives hot spots, but I come to find out though technical support that you cannot receive Wi-Fi without a data plan. Other than that it has a lot of very great applications (most of which you need internet access). Very nice Camera and Video. Applications work mostly like Windows Programs. I gave the phone to my 14 year old son and I kept my Razr.
number one problem that i found was the volume, no matter where i was it was difficult to hear or be heard. most of the internet options including wi-fi were not stable and hard to get to function correctly. picture quality is bad, fuzzy and no flash. lastly even with a stylus getting screen functions to work to repeated tries to activate.
Pros: battery life, menus
Cons: operating system, volume level
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

this phone all round stinks. i would not recomend getting it. worst decision of my life. the battery is bollucks. the screen is bollucks. its laggy as all heck and its made of cheap thin crome colored plastic. its terrible. if you have any sense do not puchase it!
I wasted three weeks trying to get used to the incite, it was impossible. First the phone has a stylus that attached by a lanyard, yeah that's real convenient. Second, it takes forever for the phone to switch from side view to upright view. Third, when you make a call to a number that requires you to press a number to continue, ie. ATT, it's almost impossible to have the screen come back to the number pad to continue. I refuse to waste anymore time talking about this piece of junk!
i don't understand why every hates this phone? i love it its my 3rd phone and my favorite one! the batter life is fine i can go 3 days with out charging and i use it all the time im a17 yr old girl so i love to text and be online. you really cant see it in the sun but thats the only problem i have with it Ive had it for a few months it does freeze from time to time but nothing serious. over all its a great phone. i especial love the media player i have so many songs on it and volume level is really good its louder than the iphone. i definitely recommend this phone to anyone.
Pros: battery life, camera/video quality, durable, ease of use, games, good for texting, menus, speaker, tools
Cons: bulky/heavy, freezes
I would recommend this to a friend!

GARBAGE

If there was the option to put no stars for any of the following characteristics that would be the only way to rate this phone. Unfortunately you have to put at least one star. The features provided with the phone are garbage. The ease of use is garbage. The battery life is garbage. Finally, the display.... you guessed it... garbage. I've had a problem with this phone since the day I purchased it. This phone should not be called a touch screen. It would be better if it were called a pound screen. It doesn't respond what-so-ever no matter how many times you mess around with the sensitivity settings. When you take this phone out in the sun, good luck trying to see the screen, another wonderful feature of the LG Incite. The operating system provided is very unstable and probably not the most thought out planing. The on board ram and processor can't handle it and it freezes all the time. Please read up on the products that you buy and try to avoid the mess that I got myself into.
Cons: battery life, bulky/heavy, durability, freezes, limited memory, operating system, poor navigation, small keys, software bugs, volume level, everything about the phone is a con

i was pumped to get this phone and really liked it at first then the touchscreen started acting up. i constantly needed to be re-aligned and even then it wouldn't work well. the stylus was lost due to not having a good built in storage like others have. the thing i hate the most though is the near impossibility to unlock it to use it. first i have to hit the side button then the unlock button at the bottom, then the unlock button in the middle of the screen. none of that works well when you have alignment problems. i am now looking for a blackberry on ebay.
the phone good, battery seems good on the info thing but really it doesnt last me but 2-4 days and all i do is mainy text....very hard to learn how to even save pictures on the phone and then put it as a background for beginner..overall for a experienced windows mobile user it should be fun but for first time windows mobile users i do not reccoment it but if you are willing to play around with it go ahead....
Pros: camera/video quality, menus, Wi-Fi capable
Cons: battery life, bulky/heavy, durability, freezes, poor navigation, small keys
