Do not buy this phone

I bought this phone instead of buying the iPhone. I was happy with my decision for the first few days, but then the phone started getting on my nerves. It has a lot of cool features, but it is slow and the control are small and hard to press. Texting is horrible on this phone. you can only see one line at a time of what you are typing. The keys are pretty easy to push when texting but it just takes too much time to hide the menu bar to have more screen room when you rotate the phone. I downloaded Windows LiveSearch for it and it is a really good feature and the GPS works well. The screen on this phone is really small, and it feels cheap. You could barely put pressure on the phone and it make really cheap squeaky plastic noises. The reflective silver finish is bad too. The camera is really good. It reminded me a lot of my friends touch screeen digital camera. That's all I can think of. Spend the extra money for an iPhone it's definitely worth it. I would not buy this phone.
Pros: battery life, camera/video quality, Wi-Fi capable
Cons: durability, freezes, small keys, small screen, cheap feeling
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very Functional

I've had my incite for 6 mo.
The battery life is amazing, I can go DAYS without charging.
Windows mobile works great and I love that it syncs with my outlook. NO MORE LOST CONTACTS OR MISSED APPOINTMENTS!!
I use the phone as an MP3 player, just plug in the aux in the car no special plugs needed. The phone has a port for normal headphones.
FM radio is nice too.
It really is simple to opperate. I read on some posts that is was a pain.. NOT true. If you can read, you can work this phone. It gives plenty of prompts ... when the envelope lights up, you have a message :)
I have had no problems with windows freezing, battery life issues or it calling people. (click key lock) :)
I have had a couple glitches and had to have the phone replaced, however even after beein offered other models, I stuck with the Incite.
(the glitch was; it lost sound, only vibrate when ringing)
Pros: battery life, ease of use, good for texting, menus, speaker, tools, Wi-Fi capable
Cons: software bugs, hard to see screen outside
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've had this phone for about 6 months, it was good for the first month but went downhill after. It freezes very very frequently and I must take out the battery and when i do so it loses all my recent texts. I'm a HUGE texter and I find it very difficult to type and always make mistakes, i'll never buy a touch phone again. I had to charge the battery every night or else it wouldn't make it through the day, but keep in mind I text a lot. I was afraid to open the camera to take a picture because about 80% of the time it would make the phone freeze. Although this phone may look very nice, I wouldn't recomend it to anyone.
Cons: battery life, durability, freezes, operating system, small keys, camera quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not as good as I expected

I was sorely disappointed in this phone. It has some great features but some of them are hard t o find. Sometimes when I turned the phone sideways it didn't recognize this and the layout was still portrait, not landscape. I'd have to re-tip the phone several times before it finally went landscape. The stylis is external so it gets in the way sometimes. I only ever use my phone on vibrate and the vibrate on it was so soft that I hardly ever felt it. When the alarm goes off on vibrate it only does so once, unlike other phones where it repeats the alarm every 5 mins. IF you feel the alarm vibrate then you can snooze it in 5 min increments (nice feature). some of the icons to click on are so small that if I didn't use the stylis I'd end up pressing the wrong icon. I don't have large fingers either. The final straw for me was the texting. When you have it landscape typing on the QWERTY keyboard you can only see one line at a time. If you scroll up you can see more but then you loose the keyboard and have to scroll back down. You can't just view an incoming text, it will automatically bring up the keyboard which is really annoying. I was talking to a co-worker about these issues and they asked it they could try it. She played with it for a while, but after only a few minutes she couldn't stand it either. I've owned many LG cell phones over the years and I have loved them all. This is the first one that I can't stand. If you do end up getting one, I'd suggest getting some kind of protection for the screen if you get this phone. Around here we have Invisi-Shield which protects it very well.

World's Worst Phone
on August 31, 2009

The phone crashes all the time. I'll be in the middle of a call and it goes down and just trying to turn it off and back on doesn't work. I constantly have to remove the battery.
There is no warning when it is going to die due to a low battery when you are on the phone. You will be talking away and then it just dies. No beeping, nothing.
The touch screen is remarkably bad. Even when using the stupid dongle stylus to type a text or something the screen just doesn't correspond to what you type. I can put the tip of the stylus directly over the letter I want, the letter even lights up, but it types something else. (usually whatever is to the left of the letter typed.)
The phone isn't compatible with most software written for smart phones and even ringtones sold by AT&T (who sold me the phone.)
The phone doesn't change time zones automatically until about 12 hours later. Even removing the battery and restarting doesn't help.
Updating the weather etc. (which it puts on the front screen) has to be done manually.
Using anything other than the phone runs the battery down remarkably quickly. A full charge goes to low battery in about 45 minutes on a good day, half an hour otherwise. I bought this phone for the capabilities it offered, like MS Office etc. but since it kills the phone so quickly I never use any of them. I liked using the radio for the bus ride to work and back, but after the 20 minute ride into work, I had to recharge the phone so I could get enough battery power to get me back home. Then had to do the same thing at home. God forbid if I actually wanted to make calls or something. There just isn't enough battery power for that too.
When the phone is plugged in to charge it automatically turns the screen on and leaves it on. That means the phone is using the energy going into the battery almost as quickly as it is charging the battery. If you don't turn the screen off manually, the battery will take days to fully charge.
The dongle stylus wraps around things (like the charger cord in the car) and makes it a pain to move the phone around. It also makes it easy to lose the stylus. (Which happily has only happened to me once, but I found it about a week later.)
This phone is a total waste of money. My daily mantra is "I hate this phone" and has been since I got it six months ago. I can hardly wait until I can justify the expense of getting a good one. (Just a couple more months.)
Pros: games, speaker
Cons: battery life, bulky/heavy, freezes, operating system, poor navigation, small keys, software bugs

Enchanted

I'm just absolutely enchanted with this device. I'm a senior citizen but I have an affinity with new gadgets. I don't put this in the category of a gadget or cell phone nor PDA for me it's more of a mini entertainment system. Yet it's also a lifeline to my family. Pictures and videos, email etc., etc., etc.,... Enchanted!
