Touch screen does not respond

I've been having this phone for about a year now. The touch screen does not respond correctly. I go to the align program at least twice a day. Right now I can't use my phone because I can't unlock it. There is no other way to unlock the phone without using the touch screen. Right now I am looking at purchasing another phone at full price because I can't use this phone when needed because, again, I can't unlock it.

4-in-1 essetials at it's best.

I've had the LG Incite for 3 days and so far it's been an involved process to figure out! But I bought it because I have a phone, an MP3 player, a camera, and a PDA in my purse. It was time to combine these 4 "essentials" into 1.
Things I do like: The touchscreen size and clairty are excellent. The 3G speed is unbeatable, too. Features such as e-mailing [word] documents and having multiple e-mail acounts are essential for busy people. Even though I don't have wireles sync for calendars, the Outlook calendar and note features are really handy for on-the-spot appointment scheduling. PC Synching w/ the Mobile Media 6.1 software is easy. Browsing, video, and mulit-media use is interesting eye candy, especially when stuck in traffic or on a lunch break. Picture quality is good, and music sound is excellent.
Things I don't like: I had to do a soft reset when I tried to download my ringtone. But it did no damage to my existing calendar or files. I also don't care for the fact that the screen goes blank when I'm making calls, and the tapping feature doesn't respond instantly like a Palm Pilot. At minimum, an 8GB storage card is a must if you want this phone to do all it's capable of doing. Otherwise, be aware of your memory usage and remove any unused programs to give you better performance.
Overall, the LG Incite offers the best choices for a smart phone over the others with 3G, Media choices, e-mail synching, multi-task use features, touch/sylus screen, camera, MP3 player, calendar, interactive contacts & phone.

Nice features & menus, lacks usability

Features, menus & tools are nice but icons & keyboards are too small and have to use the stylist all the time, very annoying! The stylist loses its strength quickly & keeps collapsing plus its placement is on a string outside of the phone. A lot of ringtones are not compatable with this phone. Going between the phone memory & the expanded memory is confusing & difficult. Overall, I would not recommend this phone. I can't wait until my contract is up on this phone so, I can get a different phone.
Pros: camera/video quality, tools, Wi-Fi capable
Cons: battery life, freezes, small keys, software bugs, small icons, small screen, stylist

My personal opinion of the phone

Pros: The phone has tons of features. The utilities of the phone are incredible. I think that for a business person who is on the go this would be a great phone. The battery does work and the display colors and clarity are pristine. I have also had great reception with it wherever I have been. The capabilities of Window Mobile are endless. One last thing I really like is the sound of the phone. The speaker is great.
Cons: You cannot see the screen if you are outside in the sun. Texting is a nightmare. This is probably my main concern with the phone. You can't see what you are typing. My only other concern is the phone is ultra sluggish. Most people get used to using their finger to touch small buttons but I still hit the wrong spot almost every time I pull the phone out.
Overall this phone has great abilities but is not user friendly. Call quality is amazing and clear.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I do agree with some of the other reviews as far as it's a little hard to text, but it's a touchscreen i expected that.. and the ease of use may be difficult for some, however i'm young and love technology so i love the fact that there's so many features and things to do on this phone... I've had it for almost a week and haven't set it down.. the screen is not delayed for me, it works fine and the automatic rotation of the screen is fine for me too.. I LOVE IT!

Had the phone for about a month it worked well for the first couple of days. As I added pictures, songs or took movie clips the phone seemed to freeze. It took about 5 min to open a text msg. The phone has great features but the freezing part needs to be worked on. I also suggest that the stylus shoud have a spot in the phone instead of hanging outside of it. Also still trying to figure out how to personlize contacts with their own ringtone!

This phone is amazing!

I love this phone. The display screen is bright and clear. I have no troubles with anything. In just one touch, you have many, many options. I put 4 stars on the "ease of use" because it just takes time to get use to it. But once you get around to having it, everything isn't a problem. The battery life however; mine usually lasts from the time I wake up to the time I go to bed. I have to charge it nightly or it will die.
