Great Phone

I switched from the LG Vu to the LG Incite and I do have to say, what an awesome switch up. The Incite is full featured and gives me so much more then the Vu. The navigation is very accurate and works very well. The Wifi is quick, faster then 3G but 3G isn't bad at all. The one downfall which isn't too bad is that the screen is a bit too reflective but not bad. Someone complained about the screen being scratched, I had my phone in my pocket for several days till I got my case and had NO issues. I bought a universal leather case at Kmart for $15 which fits the Incite really nice and keeps it protected. The sync with Outlook works really nice. The battery life is great. Although, after using the navigation for about 1 hour, the battery did drop to about 10-15% which isn't bad. Just have a car charger and you'll be fine.

Great to use!

I really love this phone. I am in college and I do not need to take my laptop anymore, because it has replaced it for most things. If you complain about the software not loading on YOUR computer than it is YOUR computer that is not working. I would definitely recommend this phone to a friend. Absolutely LOVE this phone. It is hard to see the screen while outside on a bright sunny day, but that is the only real thing wrong with it. Texting is very easy because they give you four choices on how you want to text. My favorite is where you write on the screen with the stylus and it turns it into text. VERY NICE!!!

Great phone

Let me start by saying this is a GREAT phone!! I've read some of the other reviews and they have some false info on them. I've had an Incite since Jan 09 and it's been great. And it does have an alarm clock ha ha what recent phone doesn't. The battery is superb due to it really lasting 8 hrs not just part of the tech specs and I use it alot even with me traveling alot using web, email, games, etc I still get about 6 hrs before it gets to about 20% battery left and by then I'm where I can charge it. This is the blackberry bold of windows mobile phones because it has most of the same features. But one feature blackberry doesn't have is the script function You can write on the screen!!! If you don't want to use the touch keyboard turn on the script function and write you text it's a mini tablet pc wow!! I do excel spreadsheets, power points, etc it's a workhorse.
Pros: battery life, camera/video quality, good for texting, Wi-Fi capable, you can write on the screen with stylus!!
Cons: freezes, volume level

Better than the Iphone

All I have to say is the Incite is better than the Iphone. Of course I am a Windows user not a real big fan of Apple. If you like Macintosh get the I phone. If you prefer Windows I really recommend the LG Incite.
No Cons
Pros: camera/video quality, durable, good for texting, menus, speaker, tools, Wi-Fi capable

Would not recommend this phone

I've had this phone for five months now and my experience is nothing to what I imagined. When I first got the phone I absolutely loved it. Accessing the Internet, picture and text messaging, great camera phone. It seems now my phone locks ups, freezes and I have to reset the phone by either taking the battery out or taking the battery out and the sim card.
I am not impressed with getting an all touch screen phone anymore. I will stick with the traditional keyboard with the touch screen and see how it works.
Pros: camera/video quality, Wi-Fi capable
Cons: battery life, freezes, software bugs

so far i'm happy w/the phone. i have been looking into getting an iphone for quite sometime but after LG came out with the INCITE i decided to give it a try instead.
PROS: phone is perfect for a typical business person always on the go. it's definately a PC on the go.
CONS: phone is not user friendly...you'd have to have patience to learn how to use all features.

Awesome

I was a previous owner of a 8125 and the TILT. Both of these phones were EXCELLENT, but the INCITE is SO AWESOME. I have only had it for 1 month and I love it. There are a lot of features to this phone, but if you are familiar with Smartphones, it isn't hard to figure out. The fullscreen and its clarity is a big plus. It is also very easy to send multiple text and receive/send MMS. I also like the Video Share opt. Sometimes the touch screen has a slight delay, but I experienced that same issue with my previous smart phones. Not a biggie. Transferring information from my phone to my computer or vice versa is also very easy to do.

Good for the money, but not the best overall

I originally purchased the LG Incite as my first smartphone so that I would have access to the web and be able to open and edit documents when needed. I also wanted a device that could replace my ipod. The LG Incite seemed to be the perfect match, but I quickly found out that it wasn't. It's not that bad of a phone, it's a good phone for the money, but it's not the best available. One thing that I did like was the camera/video quality. It did take great pictures, but you couldn't zoom in and out and it was a pain to change the settings when taking a picture.
First, I didn't like how the stylus just hung from a string on the phone. Everytime I went to use it, or put it away in my purse, I had the stylus hanging out everywhere. Also, even though I changed the keyboard to use the full qwerty keyboard when typing in landscape position, I kept hitting the Send button which is right beneath the Space bar. In order to not hit the Send button, you have to click the arrow button at the top of the keyboard to bring it down and cover up the Send button, then you can type a full message without sending it multiple times, but then you have to uncover it to Send the message. It was just annoying.
Also, when I downloaded my music onto the 8g memory card that I purchased separately, and then plugged it into the mp3 jack in my car, it sounded horrible. You could barely hear it. It was no where near the sound quality of my ipod. Plus, while listening to music in my office, it died after only a few hours even though it had a full charge when I started using it. I had to turn it off and immediately plug it in for charging because it shut down in the middle of the day.
Overall, it was just more annoying than anything. It wasn't a bad phone, it was definitely a step up from my old phone, but it wasn't the "full package" which is what I was looking for. I ended up going with the Blackberry Bold as a result. It cost a bit more and it's not a touchscreen, but I love it even more. It's way easier to use, no stylus hanging around all of the time, great sound quality, and I don't have to worry about the touchscreen being too sensitive or not sensitive enough. Plus it doesn't die after only playing music for a few hours, the battery life is a ton better on the BB Bold.
Pros: camera/video quality, Wi-Fi capable
Cons: battery life, poor navigation, small keys, volume level
