performance is poor; staining from fabric softener even when used according to directions

product looks good; features read like a good selection even though pricey. performance is very disappointing. clothes are not very clean, now I am experiencing staining from fabric softener when I use it. all products used are he approved and used according to directions. very loud sounds have been troubling from the beginning, but owner's manual says they are normal. wish I had selected another machine. have expected some kind of recall due to poor performance.

Going on the 2nd motor for this one bought in August 2009, and here it is October 2012. Insurance paid for the first replacement, no insurance this time warrent gone on August 30, 2012. Very bad purchase!

Tangled clothes!

Washer is two years old and discontinued? Clothes tangle. I don't know how to eliminate this problem. Why no agitator in this washer? My last GE washer lasted 20 years with no problems, that is why i chose GE again!

Didn't have any problems until the washer wouldn't drain and the close would come out soaking wet. Everything is the same so it must be something breaking.

This thing sucks

This thing hardly ever gets anything washed. Are you going to have to hand wash most of it beforehand or wash it multiple times I'd rather have an industrial one any day of the week!

Frustrating washer

This washer came with our home purchase 4 years ago, no clue how old it is, but it’s never worked right. It squeaks like a cat is dying, and when I try to change the cycle setting the washer wont let me start it until I walk away for awhile and come back to it. It’s so frustrating... we finally decided to just get a new one!

This machine has not lived up to my expectations and if I had known that I would have to wash clothes 2 and 3 times just to get them reasonably clean, I would not have purchased it. The features and options are very good but as far as cleaning my clothes, it does not do a good job at all. I can see why it has been discontinued. I use HE Tide w/ Bleach so it is not my detergent. I wish I had read the reviews before I had purchased it. This machine gets a "thumbs down" from me.

The washer has not performed as expected. My clothes are not clean after a single wash. I'm glad it's energy efficient because I spend plenty of my hard earned money on detergent.
