Pretty machine but has broken down twice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a 3 year old machine and it has broken twice. I wouldnt recommend this machine. I wish I had bought a different machine.

Piece of garbage

This machine never worked right. As another reviewer said clothes would come out without DRY spots on them. The start button has stopped working, the machine sometimes retains water in the drum and you can smell the moldy water until somehow it drains. We have not been able to figure out what causes this or where it the water is accumulating. It has been an awful experience.

Dead after 6 years

6 short years after normal duty this washer will not turn/spin NOTHING. Dont know exact cause but it will be the last GE product in my home.

I brought 6 years ago,and after first year machine started run loud at its spin cycles.

crummy, has not been a good machine. does not clean the clothes and has been repaired twice. I am now replacing the unit after 2 years of headache. not happy with GE

I have not had this machine for more than 4 years and ever since I have had it I have hated it. The clothes don't seem to be all that clean. They have spots on them that don't seem to be wet like how does the water not touch the clothes??? even when it is a small load. The fabric softener does not dispense the fabric softener at the right time. I always have to rinse my clothes a second time.
