[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my Bissell sweeper almost every day. This replaces an older model. The sweeper makes it so easy to clean up bread crumbs, hair, dust, leaves, you name it! Much more quiet than a vacuum and very light weight - it can easily be moved upstairs for under the bed dusting. Bissell is great company that supports the local animal shelter by sponsoring adoptions a few times a year. I fondly recall the Bissell sweeper and vacuum used in my childhood home. I now have one at home and at my office.

Poles come unscrewed when sweeping

Poll keeps on coming unscrewed. Cannot pick up by handle comes apart ..... Poorly designed

Sorry to hear the handle keeps coming unscrewed during use—that definitely shouldn’t be happening. This can sometimes occur if the pole sections aren’t fully tightened or if the threading wears down over time. We recommend checking that each section is twisted firmly into place, but if the issue continues, our support team at support.bissell.com can help with a replacement.

Great for dog hair

Great for dog owners who don’t want to pull out the vacuum every single day. This handy sweeper can be used between cleanings—just be sure to go back and forth a few times. It’s not a vacuum, after all, so you can’t expect it to act like one! That said, it gets up all dog hair on a rug, and I have high-shedding dogs.

This sweeper is the best. I use it everyday for cleaning. I have birds and cats and it makes life so much easier in-between regular weekly cleanings.

I would buy it again

I have been using my Bissell 2650 since 2002 and it's my "go to" tool to clean my braided & other finely made large rugs! Unfortunately a clumsy friend of mine stepped on it & bent the side & the brushes are no longer operable. I am heartbroken over this
