When I was a kid we had one of these in each classroom. I remembered it being easy to push and now that I have health problems a difficulty with a vacuum cleaner I went looking for a sweeper. I didn't expect perfection but it's turned out to be very close. I can sweep my rugs daily in just a few minutes and they look freshly vacuumed. Thank you Bissell!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this sweeper to pick up litter on a short pile rug. It does a great job collecting the litter as well as the cat fur. The litter box sits on a piece of indoor/outdoor carpet that has a raised pattern creating a multi layered surface. The sweeper has a harder time picking up the litter there, but it still gets the job done! I'm glad I bought the sweeper :)

So quick and easy for pick up leaves, crumbs, and particles on hard surface floors. Will also clean up surface of carpets and rugs, although not for deeper cleaner. Wish I had one years ago!!

I am pleased with how well it picks up crumbs and pet hair on my hardwood and kitchen floors. It does not work well on carpet. Only complaint I have is that it is difficult to clean out. I had to use my electric vacuum to sweep out the fine particles that would not come out and the fur trapped on the brush. I would highly recommend this sweeper for quick clean up jobs but not too much more.

This little sweeper has done everything I expected it to do based on the advertisements. It picks up most crumbs, lint, hair and other debris. It's great for in-between cleanings and will spruce up the house pretty quickly. Now let's look a what it won't do. It doesn't deep clean the carpet. I have a vacuum that does that and I call it THE BEAST because it's heavy, difficult to maneuver and you have to mess around with the cord. The Natural Sweeper on the other hand can be easily picked up with one hand and carried to the carpet you want to clean. It doesn't do as well on hard floors but it definitely picks up some of the debris. For the price it does an amazing job and makes it easier to keep your house clean.

I really hated taking out our heavy vacuum for small jobs. I remembered owning a manual sweeper years ago, so we decided to purchase another. I am not disappointed in this little sweeper. It does a fairly impressive job considering its lack of gimmicks and technology. It's light and doesn't have to be plugged in, so It's super for a quick cleanup when company's coming. A battery-operated sweeper we recently owned was a pain in the neck because it's battery power was dismal and I was recharging it all the time. I'm surprised how much dust it collects from the floor! It can also pick up heavier material like potting soil. It's effective for food particles, grass clippings, or bits of leaves, small stones, etc. It seems to handle most anything a broom is good for, only a lot faster. I like the fact that you can get under chairs, beds, and lots of other furniture. Why doesn't Bissell make a SUPER MANUAL SWEEPER!? My Wish List: Increase the sweeper width by four inches; add about six inches to the handle length; change the handle to bracket on to BOTH sides of the sweeper; enable the cleaner tray doors to stay open for cleaning effectiveness; include a brush comb that snaps onto the handle and possibly add a third roller. I'd pay more money to own a Bissell Super Manual Sweeper!
