Great Carpet Sweeper....So Far

Purchased this carpet cleaner to pick-up bits of stuff that wind up on our rug in the front of our store between vacuums. Works well - picks up stuff when pushed in both directions without the noise and power cord of a vacuum. Only concern is that all of the moving parts/gears are made of rubber and plastic. I wounder how long these will last before wearing out and the opposing rotating brushes will no longer rotate effectively.

We like that the sweeper doesn't use electricity, does a good job keeping the rugs clean, folds up for storage, and the tenants will actually use it.

I bought this for a small business to use. It works so nice on flat/thin carpeting, but for longer carpet fibers it can't seem to get through and pushes the dirt further down the carpet. Also, I didn't receive a small comb to clean out the brush brissels. My older version at home has this feature and it works like a charm. I recommend a very stiff, old comb to clean the brushes out. The staff is impressed with the quality of this product and loves that they don't have to pull out the bigger vaccum for small messes.
