I received this as a birthday gift&Honestly,I've probably only used it2×'s,because after assembly,I wanted to try it out,so attempted to,but it was So Very Dissapointing to say the least.It was given to me because I've Always been a big,"Hokey"user(another brand of manual sweeper,I owned1,but it ended up missing after I moved),&usually have good luck w/Bissell brand,but this time,No,this item is An Absolute Disappointment,in Every Way Possible!If it hadn't been a gift,I had a receipt&was ok w/being a rude&ungreatful person,I'd Most Definitely take & return it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this sweeper for thr good job it does for small areas that need to be swept and cleaned quickly. Itnis reasnably easy to clean and equally easy to store. I am glad to see that the handle has been replaced with a hard plastic end. The rubber cap broke through the rubber cap and scratched my refrigerator and my buffet. Fortunately, this has been fixed. This sweeper has a reasonable price and is a good value for the price. This is the third Bissell sweeper that I have owned and I have been satisfied with the ease of use and the effectiveness of the product given that it is a manual sweeper.

I purchased the Bissell Natural Sweeper and I am so dissapointed in this product that it dosen't do what the advertisement says it is supposed to do, and that is to sweep. It won't even pick up crumbs, lint, dust, just anything. When I sweep forward it will sometimes pick up, but when bringing the sweeper back it leaves the lint on another place on the carpet. All I can say is what a piece of junk and don't waste your money buying this product. It is now just taking up space in my closet and everytime Iook at it I say to myself, why don't I just throw it out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this Bissell sweeper thinking it would be a quality product due to the brand name. 2 stars only due to the handle being of poor design. The 4 handle lengths are screwed into each other, but proved wobbly and loosened up with first use. Husband had to weld the handle to make it solid. Now it works fine. I use it on carpeting and floor rugs. It picks up dog hair very well. It fits under beds well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was really disappointed with this. I was hoping this would pick up dust, cat litter and misc items between vacuuming. We have hardwood floors and it did pick up a little, but as soon as you pick the sweeper up or tap it on anything, it dumps the debris you just picked up. Worthless. I would rather get my heavy Dyson out every day than deal with this frustration! Not worth it! Down not work well at all!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bristles on the roller should be stronger, after using approximately 5 times to pick up toddler crumbs in carpet after snack times. They are starting to flex and become less effective. I vaccum nightly and hand pickup pieces that are not stomped on (gotta love 2 year olds). I have very low pile carpet and only use it in the livingroom. It's the carpet that came with my mobile home 6 years ago, so the carpet is nice and flattened from walking on it. So I dont see why this should cause so much wear on the brushes. Also when used brand new on linoleum floors it merely pushed the dirt around like a broom and if it did pick something up, it would randomly spit it out again in another location. The bins are hard to empty, I have to tilt it to one side and roll the brush by hand to get the dirt out.

It's much easier to get the old[-fashioned broom out and sweep. Doesn't matter if it's the floor,carpet, etc. I have to go over and over and over and over he same spot to pick up ONE little piece of paper. I made sure that the bin was empty. Tried multiple times to be sure it wasn't a fluke. This is a terrible product and I wish I could get my money back.
