I have been satisfied with this stove until --- the glass on the front of the oven door came loose and hit the floor and broke into a million shards of glass!! And now I am faced with trying to get it repaired, or maybe just buying something other than GE. This is my second complete set of GE appliances in 20 years, and before that had others, way back to coppertone appliances. The microwave purchased with my current set did quit working as soon as the warranty was out, and we replaced it with a different brand.

With experience, have found that if I ever need another range , I will buy one with different size burners and with the knobs in a different position. Personal preference.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
