This Range looks great and has great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the looks and functionality of this range. The fast power boil element really boils water very fast and the oven is large enough to cook a large family meal. This is the best smooth top range I have ever owned!!

This is a good 'average' smooth top range.

Felt lucky to find a bisque range since that color is losing popularity. Smooth top is easy to keep clean . Oven controls and settings are very friendly, and I like having the controls right in front of the range. Haven't used the self clean feature yet.
I found that my pots and pans don't sit flush with the flat surface which tends to take longer time to heat up. Once heated up however, the pots retain the temperature and cooking process.
I am very satisfied with my first ever smooth surface range.
I would recommend this to a friend!

As the stove/oven is still relatively new with minimal use
I'm only rating it as good. I haven't used some of the features such as self clean which I was told to do before the year is up.
I did have to have an electrician come in to move the outlet lower so the unit would slide all the way in to fit properly in the space. Don't know yet how much that has cost.

High quality product with great features and affordable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this range to replace a 29-year old GE range that we bought when we moved into this house. That range still worked but I needed a model to fit with the new construction.
This new range has an easy to clean, nice looking glass cooktop. I was apprehensive about it's durability and scratch resistance. however, using GE's recommended Ceramabryte cleaner and following GE's use and maintenance guidelines has kept the top as new as day 1.
I strongly recommend using pans that are perfectly flat and make full contact with the surface to ensure proper heating. Use only pans recommended for this type of surface, it makes a difference.
Overall I am very pleased with this product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Better looking than performing

All 4 burners seem to get uncontrollably hot, and cannot be adjusted to regulate heat as expected for different settings. My previous two ranges by GE were reliable so I don't know why this model, although newer, is so drastically poor for performace.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
