I like almost all aspects except it is super hard

I have had smooth top stoves since they first came out in the 70's. Before buying this one, I looked at reviews and the only negative ones I saw involved keeping it clean. I was a bit cocky thinking the reviewers just did not know the proper care of a smooth top. I was wrong. This has been the hardest to clean one that I have ever owned. We did learn that the only way to get streaks off is with Windex. It is also very hard to clean around the knobs.
Otherwise it heats quickly and we love all other features.

Quality and performance - top notch, no complains at all. But installation could've been easier. Certain components are easier put together before the cooktop is in place. And it would've been good to have the longer power cables coming out of the unit and the metal conduit included.

Very pleased with the GE stovetop. I replaced a Jenn Aire glasstop and I like the GE so much better because it gets hot and stays hot! The other JennAir did not stay hot. Took forever to fry a pan of okra! So, I am very happy with my GE Profile cooktop! The only thing I don't like is cleaning the filter! But I think that is pretty typical no matter what the brand.

Double Burner heats dont match

a level 3 heat on the back left burner is not equivalent in heat to a level 3 heat on the bottom left. its more like 5:3 is a match. level 1 is often too hot for simmering too. very little temperature control.

Downdraft is powerful , "Hot" warning light is a great safety feature, the Power Boil burner allows you to boil quickly
