Sleek styling. Good performance

I bought this cooktop when I remodeled my kitchen. It replaces an old style coil-type electric. It performs well but it is a real pain to keep clean. Whenever you fry something the spattering is all over the cooktop. You have to remove all knobs and downdraft grille to clean under and around them every single time you cook. The exhaust fan extends down so much under it that I had to butcher and rig with duct tape the ducting to fit my existing set up (also a downdraft) Your pots and pans need to have a perfectly flat bottom, otherwise they rattle noisily and rock so much when heating up the that the contents spill over.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The cleaning of cooktop is difficult. It get dirty very quickly. Sometimes the marks don't go away.

I bought this in April and I am glad about my choice. It's a great quality item and I would highly recommend this to others. The burners heat up quickly . The downdraft fan works excellent. Liked the new locking feature.

Replaced an old builder-grade cooktop so anything would be better. Do love the precision heat control and power when needing to generate some serious heat. Cleaning can be tedious as gloss black shows everything. Wish the exhaust connection was centered and/or smaller to facilitate easier connects to existing ductwork. Still working on my exhaust connection :(

Love the heat light!

I bought this almost a year ago and still loving it. Cleans easily, warms quickly and the sensors stay lit to warn anyone if the stove top is still too warm to touch once off.
