Works 99% of the time! Maintenance cost low

We have two of these printers and if one of them finally wore out we would buy another one to replace it. Unlike other brands that are on the market this printer stays connected while it's wired or wireless. The ink last
longer and doesn't cost nearly as much as others. The printers almost never jam up or print double sheets which is good when printing labels. The functions on the printer are easy to setup and use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This printer was very very easy to set up & I have used it for quite a few different printing jobs so far. Scans beautifully. Have not used fax feature yet. Copies are great. Have used manual feed and different types of paper. All with very good results. I hope it lasts longer than the last printer we had--ended up with motherboard and had to scrap it after only 2 years--NOT a Brother machine.

Working great so far. Hope the new ink cartridge lasts a while when I put it inafter th e starter carteidge is empty. Have it all set up for wireless and works great even off my phone. Only 1 jam up that I cleared.

Great Printer, Fax, Scanner

I like this product. Ink is hard to come by and it would be nice to have some physical directions on how to work all the features. But I will slowly figure them out. It is bigger than I had hoped. But again, I like it!

Poor Print Quality and Difficult Installation

I was very disappointed in this printer. The print quality was terrible and the installation process was not at all intuitive. I returned this printer after one week.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Print quality on standard setting a little light: adequate when printed at best quality (only tested using inkjet paper).
I have the printer in an enclosed space which limits access to the rear multifunction tray.
Only complaint is that a near business class printer is unable to print address labels. This is NOT evident in the promotional materials reviewed prior to purchase.
Overall pleased with product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not what I expected

After owning many other printers, both HP & Brother, I expected this machine to be more intuitive in its use. I had to consult the manual for each and every printer setting. I also find it very difficult to print photos. And, the new ink cartridges do not last. I am disappointed because I typically Love Brother products.

Wifi challenging to set up

I called several times, spending hours (and hours) of my time and your patient staff's time, trying to get my New MacBook Pro OS Sierra to communicate to the printer. I finally gave up and have to physically bring my laptop to the printer and plug it in when I need to print something. Not very thrilled with the printer as I was paying a premium to have the printer on a shelf and my computer wherever. It didn't work as flawlessly as I had hoped.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
